This hotel is practically new being just under 2 years old. Reception is refreshing modern & funky! Rooms are all of good size and location is great being right next to the Skyrail to go anywhere! Staff are so very friendly and the special candy at reception is yummy!

Hotel is in bang center of everything and all the great malls. Food at breakfast was fantastic with everything you could possibly want. Rooms are spacious, well decorated and with gr8 views.
The hotel has a nice spa and large pool at the top.

Would i stay here every time i visited Bangkok.?..without a doubt.

HI

great hotel, fabulous location breakfast was excellent - are only issue was that there was a wedding happening at the hotel over a 4 day period - so sometimes it was hard to get served at the front desk and one morning breakfast was moved to a different location.
Fabulous bathroom with glass walls which meant you could lay in the bath and watch tv - or alternatively you could lower the blinds for privacy. Beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The rooftop swimming pool was a beautiful area but i found the pool a little cold

The staff in this hotel goes beyond the call of duty to make your stay comfortable and the rooms are very nice. If you have access to the exec lounge, you will not be disappointed particularly in you like martinis :) I'm a business traveller who has been a Mariott Rewards member for many years and who has spent over 1,200 nights in Marriott properties and this hotel is on my short list. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed at the Renaissance for 1 night in our recent trip to Thailand. The hotel is very modern and we loved everything about it. The rooms are very modern, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The views are amazing from the rooms. Shopping district is within walking distance which is nice. My wife and I walked around for hours and it was very easy to get around with the Sky Walk just across the street.

Check-in process was very quick and easy. The Concierge Lounge is very nice with great food offerings. My only gripe would be that they chose to put an Italian restaurant in there. Not exactly what I want to eat while in Thailand but that is just my opinion. There are no less than 1000 restaurants within walking distance so it wasn't a big deal at all.

I would recommend this hotel for couples, families, friends, and singles as well. The location can't be beat and it is one of the trendiest hotels in all of Bangkok! Book with confidence.

Room Tip: Higher floors have better views of the city. Corner rooms have best views, of course.

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night after a weeklong trip to Koh Samui. First things first, the location of this hotel is fantastic, being right in the middle of a shopping district with the Conrad, Hyatt, and many other upscale hotels right nearby. Also very proximate to rapid transit (which was also fairly to use). We felt very safe walking around at all hours of the night which is definitely a plus when in an unfamiliar city. As a first impression, the lobby is definitely "ultra modern" and very sophisticated. Check in was good - relatively quick with no problems. The ultra modern/sophisticated theme continued all the way up to the room with mood-lighting in the elevators and hallways leading to the room - definitely pretty unique. The room was spacious with a desk/workspace and sitting area with a sofa. The bed was comfortable and the decor and overall the lighting in the room was pretty top notch. The bathroom was also very modern with a good-sized "feax" clawfoot soaking tub and a rain shower. My only complaint with the bathroom was that the shower was pretty small along with the overall bathroom - definitely not adequate space for two. We also had been given only two pretty skimpy/tattered bath towels which was quite out of character. For the international traveler, all outlets in the room were universal and accommodated US-style plugs along with many others. While staying here we also had a treatment at the spa and were fairly dissatisfied with our experience there. While the spa itself was very nice and up to date we both felt that our massage therapists weren't up to par with the prices charged at the spa. The property also has a large pool on the top floor which is open air but for all intensive purposes I would classify it as indoor and not outdoor. We decided not to go for a swim because the water was really cold but the pool did look pretty awesome. There is also a huge gym with an awesome skyline view up on the same floor as the pool. With regard to getting to the hotel from the airport, a taxi runs about 450 baht (less than $15) and takes 30-40 mins in good traffic - just make sure that the taxi driver uses the meter, otherwise there is a significant probability you will be overcharged. You should also make sure to have directions printed out with a map, as this is a new hotel and not well known by the cab drivers. We found this out the hard way after driving down all sorts of back alleys and getting caught in horrible traffic trying to find the place. Overall I would recommend staying at this hotel and would consider staying here again next time I'm in Bangkok.

We are currently staying at this fine hotel and are on our last night. We don't want to leave. It's the 5th December so the city is really alive for the kings bday. The hotel is very classy and the staff are very professional. The area is great for shopping and sky train is 5 mins walk away. We will definitely back
