“One of the best Lebanese in Bangkok”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2013

if not the best, the owner Richard is super cool and really takes good care of his guests. Food is great, they have a Lebanese chef that knows what he's doing. Good place for a casual night. They also have Shisha.

“My current Bangkok favorite...NADIMOS!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 2, 2013

We chanced upon Nadimos at Silom in February this year...it was an unassuming restaurant, but the food was authentic and of very good quality. (I consider myself a choosy Lebanese food eater, having only very authentic food at the Manila home of a Lebanese who is a cousin in law). A day later, I went back for seconds and couldn't have enough, and was told that there is a Sukhumvit branch.....which is wonderful as I almost always stay in that area of Bangkok. Since February, I've been to that branch four times! Ingredients are always, always fresh. They never skimp on quantity...you get very good value for your money! Aside from hummus, motabal, falafel my favorites are shanklish, the Nadimos falafel, the lamb kebabs keshkash, Richard's Salad, lamb chops, mankushe zataar and cheese mankushe, hummus with lamb, and all the roasts that're served in the Sunday buffet! Service is good, waiters are very attentive! And the place is clean and airy. I only have two wishes--that they serve pine nuts in some of the dishes, and that they have authentic baklava amongst their deserts! i am also hoping that Nadimos' owners will one day choose to open a branch in Manila, Philippines! Meanwhile, I make sure to eat once or twice at Nadimos, every time I visit Bangkok :-)

“Casual atmosphere and pretty good food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 30, 2013

The menu at Nadimo's is pretty much standard middle eastern fare, but that was exactly want we craved. Atmosphere is pretty casual and the service is friendly and reasonably attentive. They serve all the favourites like hummous, baba gannoush, and tahina. They also serve a very rich walnut based dip which was probably the highlight of the evening. Another tasty dish was crisply fried lamb in a pool of hummous. We also ordered a fried fish dish, which looked like it could have come from a Brit fish and chip shop, and a chicken that was so highly flavoured with lemon that it split the table into "for" and "against". I loved it, but some at my table didn't.

One of our guests brought wine from home and the staff had no trouble with this. In fact, we don't think they even charged corkage.

Nadimo's is worth a visit if you crave middle eastern food. It probably won't win any fine dining awards, but it will definitely satisfy.

“Great location. Excellent food. Sad service.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 10, 2013

Located close to Sukhumvit this is another restaurant which is in a lovely lane with several options to choose from like Zagin sake and sushi..

Food is excellent and their flavours are impeccable. They have many dishes that resemble Indian food like Samboussa which is like a samosa and their rice pudding which is like firni.

Don't miss their shawarma and lamb mankushe. Delicious.... Be prepared to meet with grumpy service. The few waiters that they do have seem focused on larger groups that order sheeshas with their food.

“Great atmosphere, great food and Halal.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 30, 2013

We have visited both of the Nadimo's restaurants this week having seen them on Zabihah. Both times we had superb mezze and very friendly service. Of the two, the restaurant near Sukhomvit had the best atmosphere and we seemed to be the only ones there who weren't 'regulars'. It's obviously got a good reputation with the local desi/middle eastern community. Recommendations would include the Kibbeh and the hummous with meat, washed down with the mint shake and followed up with the special sheesha. The service meant we felt like regulars by the time we left.
