We finally got around to doing this on our last night in Bangkok. We got the staff at the hotel to reserve our seats. Glad we did this as it was sold out by the time we got there. This was for the 8.15 show. We decided to get the BTS & the free shuttle ferry. My advise is to get there earlier than we did. The shuttles start at 4.30 & it is all really well sign posted. We got to the pier about 6.45 & the queue was huge. I suspect that the locals use this service as well. We waited for about 20minutes & got to the Riverside centre at about 7.15. We were told later you can get a no 1 bus by the pier for 8BTh that goes straight to the theatre. That would have been quicker.
The area where the theatre is looks really good. Loads of little interesting looking shops & plenty of eating places. Pity we were there so late we really didn't get a chance to have a good look around. I suspect that this isn't a place to go if you are looking for a bargin.
The show was good. We found it very entertaining. It is what it is. If you go expecting a highly polished professional show then you will be disappointed. The costumes are great & the performers give 100%. They seem to be having fun & we had fun watching. As we had booked so late our seats were towards the back but still a good view. The man sitting at the front by the stairs to the stage became part of the show a few times. I think he enjoyed the attention!
Getting back was less of a hassle but we still queued to wait for the ferry but it wasn't as long.
Over all a good night out

Ladyboys are a must-see in Thailand. We got our tickets through our hotel for 800 baht/person, including transportation. Before the show, we had a chance to walk about Asiatique, a big shopping centre; the quality is pretty good. The show is great, although they all lip-sync. The ticket also include a free drink, which was great. The only thing is that, at the end, they invited people to take pictures. We thought it was free, but they asked for 300 baht for the three "girls" that we took pictures with. We refused, and just gave them a tip. Make sure you ask before taking pictures how much it is.

Had the best night in Bangkok at this show. Despite the 'girls' lipsynking the tracks it was a great entertainment. The costumes were amazing. We had been recommended to go to this show and we weren't disappointed. We got seats at the back but were moved to the front row. Great views from every seat though. If you are in Bankgok this is a must see show. It's easy to get to by BTS and boat. A great night out.

When we asked our hotel what was something good to do that evening, the concierge asked did we want to see a cabaret show. We decided to and the hotel booked it for us including a 2 way transfer. When we arrived it was a lovely theatre and we had no idea it was an all male review show until the compare talked. The girls were stunning and the outfits were fabulous. We had a great time at this show and recommend it thoroughly.

My boyfriend and I heard about this show and made a reservation at our hotel. It's a bit pricy (1200 baht a ticket) but oh well!
We went to Asiatique with the BTS and boat, we loved the shopping mall and you have plenty of restaurants where you can dine before the show. Our hotel warned us not to eat at the Calypso buffet!

We went to the 21.45 show.
We loved it! Don't expect an all talented musical, but it is a lot of fun to watch!! The "girls" are playbacking and they're not dancing in sync, but who cares??it's a lot of fun to watch. I watched the whole 80 minutes with a smile on my face!

Worth the trip a 100% if you want a fun nigt out, shopping, eating and have a good laugh!

(Ps. The comparison with cirque the soleil in the other review is hilarious, seriously what did you expect?)
