We visited the restaurant with three adults and two teenagers and all had an enjoyable experience. The restaurant is an easy walk from BTS Surasak. The host knew who we were from the booking and immediately greeted us by name before showing us to our table, where a competent and very friendly waitress who speaks excellent English took our orders. We started with a generous selection of tapas for the table and ended with chocolate lava brownies and ice cream - all excellent dishes. The wine selection was good and there were mocktails for the children. The restaurant is expensive, but you get what you pay for, so certainly worth a visit

Booked online a few weeks in advance of our stay in Bangkok, for a 9:00PM dinner on Good Friday.

We arrived about fifteen minutes early, but this was no problem, as our table was ready for us. Soon after being seated, we were served complimentary glasses of Proseco, and a few minutes later the chef came out of the kitchen to welcome us (as we saw that he did to most of the diners who arrived after we had been seated).

Service was warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our dinner.

The food was outstanding...we started with a pasta dish (linguini with lobster) to share, followed by mains of roasted chicken, and grilled snow fish. The serves were more than enough for our appetites, offered exceptional value for money (considering quality).

The ambience of the restaurant and wine bar is very nice.

Next time we are in Bangkok, my wife & I will be sure to dine at Opus again.

My wife and I were in Bangkok and this place was recommended by a friend who lives there.

We were told it would be expensive but by western standards was very reasonable for food of the highest order.

We enjoyed three courses covering meat and fish and as regular restaurant go-ers we found the food interesting, and extremely well cooked and on par with sine of the finest food we have eaten.

Having he executive chef walk the floor and check on patrons was a lovely touch, this in addition to the maitre d also checking on tables. One small criticism, the service is a little too quick! A little more time between courses would enhance the experience- given this is my only criticism it does show the standard of the place.

the food was well-prepared and presented, they had a great wine list, and the atmosphere was sophisticated. We could not get a reservation on a Sunday evening, so we went Monday and most of the diners appeared to be having business dinners. We only got one glass of wine but ordering a bottle or two would definitely increase the bill substantially. Our excellent entrees were foie gras ravioli and sea bass served wrapped in a vegetable "coat." The service was impeccable.

Fantastic service for a reservatiom before 2 days. And we were served a complimentary dessert and dessert wine to express regret for the wait. It was a great and lovely night and demonstrated how attitude and kindness can easily turn a difficult experience into a memorable one. They cleared our table once we were finally done with our meal so others wouldn't have to wait like we did. The music was fine and the food was delicious. Overall, this is a must-come restaurant when you visit Bangkok.
