The swimming pool was recently upgraded. The lights inside the pool are made brighter, which makes swimming in the evening so much comfortable. The pool was filled with clean salt water, and the pool bar was very convenient and accessible. The staffs are very friendly and helpful, especially P’Nui. Thank you for such experience!

Traffic in Bangkok is awful. Took well over an hour to get to the river by the Peninsula Hotel area! But if you have business around the hotel it’s awesome. Big outdoor lap pool. Spacious well equipped gym not that I ever used it. Roof bar with 360 view and good vibe with lots of non-guests. Which I did use. Large rooms at top of tall building so views are unobstructed. Helpful staff. Decent Thai restaurants in walking distance. Oh, and the breakfast spread rivals the best I’ve had, on a par with the Ritz in Tokyo and Kyoto which had held the record in my book. From the usual Western and Japanese offerings to Indian and Chinese as well. Breads, pastries, healthy granola and oatmeal. Exotic local fruits. Wide range of coffee drinks. And on and on.

This property was located in a quieter area of Sukhumvit. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. They gave us fresh bottles of water each day and laundry detergent for the washer and dryer. The breakfast served in the hotel’s restaurant was varied and delicious and wait staff was attentive. The wonderful pool area had a bar that served alcoholic beverages and smoothies. There was also a ping pong and pool table our family enjoyed during our stay. The staff at this Marriott was exceptional! The front desk, concierge, valet and room cleaners were polite, helpful and went above and beyond to provide great service. Also, try the on site spa. They were able to get us in on the same day and the massages were so relaxing.
