TripAdvisor reviews are corrupt. And the rating 4/5 for this hotel proves it. Nobody with a sane mind who has actually been there can possible give this hotel a higher rating than average.

Look: the tiny rooms have ants, mosquitos, centipedes. And i even saw a lizard sneak under the door at level one. The evil receptionist tried to convince me that that i did not have breakfast included, although it was clearly stated on the hotel voucher. The same receptionist pretend to loose all english skills as soon as i had a minor complaint. The other receptionist were actually snickering during my attempts to be understood, and well that is not really a sign of class is it? The breakfast is simple, ok if you want to eat toast and cornflakes every day.

It starts to stink as soon as you start the bathroom fan, which starts when you turn on the light. And as most other users here have stated, there is no toilet door. I wonder if the absence of a door is a desperate attempt to save money? What else reason could it be not to have a bathroom door?

The hotel website claims that all rooms has a minibar, which is not true. At check in you have to sign a paper that says that you will pay a fine 1000 Bath for every sheet or blanket that has a "blood, chemical or other stain" on it, which is bizarre since it's the hotels job to do the washing and cleaning.

Many of the reviews is probably written by the employees at Nantra de Confort.
In fact i urge all those reviewers that gave this hotel rating above average to come forward, reveal themselfs and explain the rating. After visiting this hotel i would would without hesitation claim that the overly positive reviews for this hotel is A PURE SCAM PULLED OF BY THIS HOTEL:

And lastly,i would like to point out that ->

Some areas of Bangkok including Tong Lo probably have problems with the sanitation/drain. The whole area around Nantra de confort smells like an old time outdoor lavatory.

And there is also a bunch of prostitutes hanging around every night just about 5 meters from the entrance of the hotel

The hotel's location was easy to find by our taxi driver. The recepsionists are friendly but the room is too small. For me it doesn't a matter. We can leave our baggage here without any fee and they always help us for anything. The BTS station is quite far from this hotel.

This is a well located hotel. Thonglor is great to get around. Lots of good restaurants in area. Staff were very smiley but did not once get out from behind the counter to help with luggage, taxis or other enquiries. There was no local phone in reception and room phone did not seem to get an outside line. Room was only cleaned when asked. Though they were really apologetic about it being missed for two days. Possibly just an oversight. Getting a taxi to the airport was interesting and a solo effort.

The photos they post on agents website I used to book are false, of one oftheir better hotels with nicer larger rooms.
They claim the shoe box in the old building which barely fits a small double bed in, is a double room.
Luckily we could upgrade to a proper double room with two large singles pushed together. However with this extra price, about 40% on top of the base rate, we could of choose better hotels elsewhere.
The breakfast was also just a lie, its was just juice milk instant coffee put out in the foyer.
It is actually too far to walk comfortably to the bts station. Many hotels in Bangkok have hotel tuk tuk that will u give a lift, but they do not have this service.
Staff have No tourist information and unable to speak english to help.
Half the lights in the rooms have been removed, and they refuse to replace them.

It's affordable and close to bars and BTS station, especially if you're traveling on a budget. However, the bathrooms don't have doors and no warning about not disposing toilet paper in the toilet. The hotel also needs a touch up as there are peeling paints on the walls and bathroom, not too pleasant

I have booked this hotel via agoda, and its a complete Value for money. The only issue was that the bathrooms didnt have doors other than a curtain, prepare yourself for that. Location and comfort levels were good. Pretty near to the BTS. The room was small and had no elevator.

Room Tip: Dont choose the economy one, as the bathrooms door issue would be, select the better one.

This hotel is excellent in some areas, but sadly lacking in others.

I have stayed here 4 times in the last 6-7 months, each time for at least two nights. The rooms I had assigned varied drastically from very small to very very small. That in itself is not a problem, as I knew what to expect. What was a problem was the effect that bad plumbing has on a very small space. On 3 of the 4 times I stayed here, a rank smell has come up the pipes during the night (into the bathroom, and through the sink - which is directly beside the bed in the bedroom). This has made it impossible to sleep. Even when I have tried to cover the openings, the smell is so strong that it just doesn't go away.

Its a shame really as the beds are comfortable, the internet fast, and the TV's in each room are larger than you would expect. If they could sort out the plumbing (and let me know here), I'd be back in a flash.

Pros: Location is excellent. Staff helpful. No noise from outside.

Room Tip: Stay away from 307.
