We stayed 4 nights at the Bhuthorn in December 2009 at the start of our vacation and two nights in January 2010 at the end of our vacation.

The Bhuthorn is located in the old town of Bangkok, very close to all the tourist sights. Surrounded by local life, you really get to experience the real Bangkok, which makes the stay very special and exciting.

The Rooms are very clean! And every room is individually and very tastefully decorated. The Bhuthorn room is my absolute favorite. The room is very spacious and overlooking a little square where local life goes on.

The service is great and the people running the hotel are very nice and helpful.

Breakfast is good and you get very good coffee, which seem rather seldom in Thailand :-) The salad in the morning is sooo delicious. And the best thing is that you have breakfast in a very little but so cute court yard decorated with plants and flowers. It is such a special place!

We recommend the Bhuthorn to any body who wants a nice, special and clean stay in Bangkok!

This small hotel/ guest house is a treasure and our 4 night stay was a wonderful experience in a very special part of old Bangkok. The hospitality was very friendly and attentive; the room we had was very comfortable with very good facilities and lovely antique futniture and the breakfast area was a small courtyard. The location, looking onto a "village square" type park, was a real experience giving a community feel in what might be taken as a crouded city. Located in the old part of Bangkok it was ideal for walking to many of the main features of old Bangkok including the Grand Palace, Wat Poh, the river, China Town, the flower market and many old palaces plus many more parts of old Bangkok that the average tourist rarely sees. It was a special experience.

The best place in town to visit and enjoy Bangkok. Close to many major tourist places (Grand palace, Wat Po, Kaoh San Road, Wat Arun,..), it's really convenient.

The hotel, or should we say the Bed and Breakfast, offers a unique atmosphere. The 3 rooms with colonial style furnitures will assure you to have a relaxing stay, faraway from the busy and ordinary stars hotel. The service was really kind and helpful. Do not hesitate to ask them advices, they will be delighted to answer.

I would definitively recommend that inn to anyone who want to stay in Bangkok for business or leisure. A stay at The Bhuthorn is the place to be for anyone who wants to enjoy Bangkok as a unique experience.

My husband and I absolutely adored our stay at the Bhuthorn! From the beautifully dressed rooms to the gorgeous antiques and breakfasts in the garden, everything was just lovely. Chitlada and the rest of the staff were so welcoming and really went above and beyond, booking Loi Krathong dinner reservations for us and really making our stay so easy and pleasant. We especially loved our fresh flowers each day!

The Bhuthorn's location is wonderful, too! Though situated near all of the Old Town sites, it is nestled in a quiet neighborhood side street overlooking a park. We easily walked to the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, as well as the famous Kaoh San Road, each about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. (We enjoy walking, so we covered much more than these on foot, but I think most people would find these destinations very accessible.)

Overall, we found this to be a wonderful inn and an excellent value! I would recommend The Bhuthorn to anyone!
