As others have remarked, The Bhuthorn is a little gem. It is delightfully managed by Chitlada (for one) who makes a special effort to see that guests needs are cared for. The B&B goes out of its way to provide those little extras that make a place memorable and the inclusion of afternoon with fine china is just a case in point. The decor is tastefully done and there is an original feel to the rooms and decorations. As the location is old town Bangkok, one is within walking distance of so many attractions and there are some excellent, inexpensive restaurants nearby. Also, as the hotel is located in a little square off the main roads, it is quiet which, in Bangkok, is quite an achievement. It is not one of the cheapest hotels around but is definitely recommended.

This place is a hidden gem! It’s situated walking distance to nearly all of the local attractions and some really yummy restaurants. We stayed in the Bhuthorn room which suited us fine. It had everything we needed and was comfortable and clean.
Obviously being a lot smaller the Bhuthorn is able to provide a much more personalized experience. The staff were all extremely helpful and took the time to give us advice and tips on our time in Bangkok.
I would agree with other reviews, must try the Thai breakfast (they are delicious!) and if you happen to be around in the afternoon you will probably be treated to something delightful like mango and sticky rice or coconut ice cream.
Thank you very much to the staff at the Bhuthorn for making our trip to Bankok so enjoyable and we hope to return again one day! And for those of you visiting Bangkok I would strongly recommend the Bhuthorn!

We stayed in the Bhuthorn room overloking the square and loved every aspect of this delightful old house. The owner was really friendly and welcoming and served us breakfast on the second day, a delicious Thai feast. The first morning we had breakfast in the courtyard garden, again an array of four Thai dishes served in a tower of bento boxes. We found the location quiet and really interesting, in a conservation area with ancient dwellings. You must visit this gorgeous little place

The Bhuthorn is a small cosy B&B centrally located in the old part of Bangkok, at walking distance from the Royal Palace and other monuments/temples. It really looks like home and the staff are extremely kind and helpful. The rooms (just 3) are nice and different from one another, very cosy, with wooden floor and nice details. Our toilet was very small, but clean. Breakfast is delicious and you can choose between different options by ordering the evening before. At any time of the day you can order complimentary tea/coffee. I strongly recommend it under any point of view.

This is a very small, intimate and special little place to stay. It is in an old square, low key, quiet and away from all the hustle and bustle of the central shopping or business district but an easy 10-15 min walk to the Grand Palace and Wat Pho (you can walk through a park for some of it). It only has 3 rooms, all traditionally decorated and very comfortable, all ensuite, safe, fan, tea making facilities, wifi, satellite tv etc. I stayed in the Bhuthorn room which overlooks the square, very light and bright room. The staff are friendly and very welcoming, providing really tasty breakfasts, part european, part thai and afternoon Thai snacks and tea in the afternoon if you are there. There is a also a fabulous well reviewed and very reasonable thai restaurant on the square for your dinner!
