“Lives up to its name”
Reviewed June 19, 2013

This Indian Restaurant is located on the first floor on Soi 59, about a Km from the Thong Lo BTS station. The seating is indoors and the décor and ambience is very pleasing. The menu offers a varied choice and the portions are quite adequate. The staff was very responsive and service good. The selection of Indian deserts was limited and could have included a wider choice. The rates was quite reasonable and lunch/dinner for two person without drinks was around 1500 Thai Baht.

“Great Food”
Reviewed June 13, 2013

Well, though i dont generally try Indian food when I travel to other countries, but on this trip somehow landed at Masala Art with a group of friends and family! I dont know who amongst the group made that choice... but it turned out to be a great choice! The restaurant though Indian does not look Indian as there is very little in the ambience to make it look Inidan, however it was very clean, warm and inviting. But its the food that we all loved... most of the Indian restaurants abroad cater to the tourists who are probably one time customers so those restaurants dont really bother much with taste and quality - but Masala Art is different. The food tasted authentic and when I spoke to the chef, he came across as someone who knows what he is talking about and is quite focussed on taste and authenticity. All in all a MUST TRY restaurant when in Bangkok and miss Indian food!!!!

I had food at several restaurants in Bangkok, but I think this is the best. They have nice curries and choice of naan breads. The staff is friendly, atmosphere is good.
