It was a happy accident that we came upon this restaurant while looking for the temple of the Reclining Buddha. The place was clean and our server was friendly and accomodating. She speaks good English enough to give us the description of our dish and give directions to wat pho. The green curry was our favorite and the food was reasonably priced, even cheaper than the street food eatery we have eaten at the night before.

Real Thai food and the staff were a MUST! The owners the most kind and very friendly! They only serve lunches! Very good price and a nice environment! As always everything was very clean!

Great restaurant - on the budget, air conditioned (It was extremelly hot in Bangkok when we visited, not many on the budget restaurants have air con), very nice staff (they do not speak much English, but were trying to help advice how to cross the river the cheapest and gave us dessert for free when they did not know how to explain in English what is it made of and kept smiling all the time), the best Tom Yam soup we had in Thailand. Near the temple of declining Budha (Wat Pho), so if you plan to go to Wat Pho, this is a recommendation where to go for lunch or dinner afterwards!

If you can ignore the tuk tuk drivers and other people trying to getting your attention, this is a nice quiet place to have lunch. It is about 10-15 minute walk from Grand Palace gate; we found it through Lonely Planet guide. Food was good, low price, and loved the coconut milk ice cream

Our table gave the food mixed reviews. My green curry was light deliscious and flavorful (5 stars) while my wifes pad thai was a bit bland (3 stars). The place is clean and close to wat po, the grand palace and the water taxi's. The decor was not memorable, the servers were fast and polite. if you are in the area and are looking for a meal... Its worth a visit. The real kicker is that our table of seven ate for roughly 20$us including drinks. For that price... We all agreed we'd be coming back for a round two.
