“Nice Enough”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

Stayed here one night and thought it was nice. I had a standard room, which was fine for one person. The rooms are nicely appointed and the bathroom has a decent shower.

I am a tall guy and found the ceiling a bit low around the area of the bed. In fact, I could not put eye drops in without bending my knees. (I am 1.9M) Also, was on the 2nd floor and the bar behind the place was a bit noisy at night. Likely better on higher floor.

But, service was nice, breakfast was a bit simple for me with little choice, but overall I suppose I would stay again, but I would look at other options as well. I did not get a look at the larger rooms.

Stayed in Paradiso during the visakha puja weekend.

Affordable accommodation in a good location!

Its nearer to Nana BTS station although its seems to be in the middle of Nana and Asoke BTS. Tried pulling a big luggage from Asoke BTS to the hotel, but had to go through some "obstacles" and narrow pathway . Found out later that the pathway was wider and less complicated if I had walk from Nana bts.

Our room wasn't ready when we reach bangkok at 10am, so the hotel staff told us that the room will be ready only at 12. So we placed our luggage with them at the lobby and went out to take a walk. Ceilings are pretty low.
We stayed in the superior/standard room which was a "compact"size.
Room size was considered okay for us asians. Problem was there wasn't space for our big luggage so we have to shove it under the side table beside the bed when not in use. And when it comes to unpacking/packing, we had to use the space that was behind the door.
Room comes with fridge, in-room security safe, coffee making facilities.
Complimentary bottled water daily.
Master control panel for lights, aircon temperature by the bed.
I felt that the bed was too hard for me but my partner had no complain.

Wifi connection was really fast and good even in our room.
Room lighting was acceptable , except that the dressing table lighting was too dim.

Breakfast was acceptable if you are only staying there for 3 to 4 days. They have a fixed menu to choose from. There were only three sets to choose.
1) toasts + jam/butter, sausages and boiled egg. Coffee/tea, slices of watermelon
2) pancakes. coffee/tea, slices of watermelon
3) fried rice.coffee/tea, slices of watermelon

Tasty and enough to fill us up for the long day ahead.

Staff are helpful and friendly.

Would I stay there again?
Well, maybe if I cant find another accommodation in the same area that is affordable, then i would go back there again.

This hotel located near Nana BTS station and Asok station. It's very convenient location for shopping and enjoying. Cuvit garden Park is beside this hotel. Rooms of this hotel are a little small but enough for me. Hotel staff are very friendly

Room Tip: Weekly price is 10% discount.

First the good news: this hotel is well situated if you want to be close to Sukhumvit action. It is across from a really lovely little park. The staff were friendly and cheerful.
Now some bad news: I reserved the luxury room in Paradiso using my passport and credit card at 9 a.m. and was told it would be ready at 12 noon. I arrived at 2 p.m. They said the room was not ready but would be soon. Also they said the AC was broken. "Would that be acceptable?" The room was sweltering 38º and they offered me two fans. "Would that be acceptable?" I said no this is not acceptable. They said they had no other option available. I asked to speak to the manager and the young woman said "No, he has gone home and has shut off his phone. Please don't be mad because he will blame me."
I don't like a manager who shuts off his phone when he know s a problem has arisen, offer no alternative but fans and threatens his staff if problems come back to him.
Problems occasionally arise in hotels. How they deal with it is key. Be forewarned.

If you want to be located in Sukhumvit, this is a good place to stay. It's pretty central to the shopping and nightlife options and the staff are good and friendly. Rooms are nice but the ceilings are a little low. If you're over six feet two, you might be uncomfortable. Wifi is good and breakfast is included, but nothing to write home about.
