“Great breakfast buffet”
Reviewed January 3, 2012

The front desk manager and her staff are wonderful. I found them very Helpfully and hardworking. Massive buffet gets you started for the day. 5 Mia walk to sky train. Loads of locals eating street food around. Nice area for night markets too. We returned twice during our stay in Thailand.

A good deal. Small rooms, but they provide everything a smart traveler needs.

Relatively quietly situated at a very central place in Bangkok, only 5-10 minutes walk to Victory Monument, Victory Sky Train Station and a lot of buses, next to a small public park. Very friendly staff, and a great breakfast included in price. No swimming pool. 7/11 shop just around the corner, good local restaurants within 5 minutes walk.
Note - last 100 - 200 meters requires care when walking to the hotel (one way street without a sidewalk, and M/Cs not respecting the one way direction)

the hotel was at a reasonable price. rooms were clean and big. takes about 30 mins from airport. its very near the BTS about 5-8 mins of walking and there is a shopping centre near the hotel too
love the bar and must try their tequila sunrise . taxis had some difficulty finding the place as it was off the main road.
So my advice would be get the address in thai and telephone number of the hotel and show it to the cabbie at the airport

Room Tip: get the higher floors lesser noise from traffic

Good price, good location, room is ok but found many ants. No slipper and toothbrush, better bring your own or buy from the convenient store nearby. Try not to let the bell boys to find taxi for you to airport, they probably will get you 'big taxi' and the taxi drivers will not base on the meter to charge. The taxi driver told us 500 because it is a big car, we refused and found the taxi at the street our own. It costed us 200 only.

Location – Around 45 minutes drive from the Bangkok international Airport. We zeroed in on this hotel mainly because of its location, of course not before checking its review on TA! We wanted to be away from Bangkok’s infamous traffic’s snarling noise/pollution yet close to the main shopping area and sightseeing spots.

The hotel is situated in the lane which has two parallel main roads on its both sides. Both the roads are having various small shops and malls. After walking few meters on the lane’s right side main road there is a huge Duty free shopping mall called King Power.Same road has lot of local stuff being sold there. In front of the hotel is a public park with tall trees.

Bangkok’s main shopping area, Schumvit road is just a few minutes ride on Tuktuk. One of Bangkok’s sky train stations is also nearby which we did not explore.

Room – All the rooms have balconies. Ours was a superior room on 6th floor. It was specious and recently renovated so looked nice. All the useful furniture items were there which made our 4 days stay relatively comfortable.

Bedding was neat and clean and all the amenities were provided. Our room’s balcony had a side view which was thankfully unobstructed.(Pls see pics)

Bathroom - Though it was neat but turned out to be a damp squib. Interior gave old look.Bathroom mirror had no light on top. Toilet seat was uncomfortable and bath tub was quite high without any safety handles.
Towels were yellowish. Toiletries provided were limited (no shower cap and ear buds!)and just average.

Disliked - Housekeeping was not up to mark. Bed sheets/pillow covers were not changed on the second day and the room was not cleaned properly.

Room ac was in a corner away from the bed so cooling was not enough for us.

Liked – A complimentary tour to Bangkok’s three main temples and Grand Palace organized by a Private Travel Desk at the hotel.

The hotel had a very nice Message Parlor right at its entrance.

The hotel lobby was bright and organized. Check in and out was smooth.

Room service was good. Only hassle was to make them understand your accent and vice versa!

Staff was very courteous and helpful.

Breakfast – Was included and probably one of the best breakfast spreads I have ever come across in any budget hotel.
Very well presented and assisted. Apart from their local food it included all kinda bread rolls, omelettes, waffles, fruits etc. My favorite Pancakes with maple syrup/honey were there too!!!

Tips – The rates of that private tour operator at the lobby are quite high. So strong negotiation is required if one needs their service.
Also beware of the tour company’s cab drivers as they operate independently, so once you sit in the cab, they will try to sell their own tour plans to make extra bucks.

Will not mind staying there again...

Room Tip: Go for a renovated ones.
