“More of the same...”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

Good place for italian cuisine, but the menu is always the same...Becomes predictable and boring. What is the Chef doing?

“Nice wine”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

Very good wine list, one of the best in Bangkok actually, and food is nice too, many unusual dishes with an Italian theme but not just the standard Italian food, all unique choices.

“Why is the restaurant getting such high scores by previous guests?”
Reviewed September 29, 2012

I have eaten here twice. The first time based on high trip advisor ratings. We returned a second time because we assumed by ordering the "Chef's special 4 course meal" that we had some how tasted the "wrong" dishes the first time. The second time we ordered from the menu. To our dismay the food was still not up to expectations. It is neither authentic Italian nor fusion. Somewhere in between in the confusion zone. The owner does a great job of describing his dishes but once they arrive they don't live up to verbiage in terms of taste, presentation or portions.

They also need to improve the rather dead interior of the restaurant. The music/ambient noise is so low that guests are all aware of each other. There is little positive energy. The plastic cheeses, plastic grapes and fake prosciutto hanging from the counter is rather cheesy.

To be fair they have a lovely wine selection and good service.

“very nice meal!”
Reviewed September 20, 2012

After i did not visit this restaurant for a (far too long) time, I went again recently and it was great. In my opinion one of the best Italians in Sukhumvit area.
From the amouse bouche to the tortellini with Pigeon and the veal and cod fish, everything was prepared very well. Great wine selection and very good service. Will definitely be back for more!
