I love this area of Bangkok, it's convenient and very breezy NOT to stuffy like any other area in Bangkok. I love the boat ride from Chao Praya River.

This is not truly a restaurant but a buffet. But having said so its one of the best in its kind!
We were staying in the Hilton Millenium for a Medical Meeting and the first night we choose this restaurant as a default, but after visiting it we kept on eating there for three nights in a row!
The choice of different cuisines makes it an ideal place when the party is composed of different tastes, ethnicities, ages and apetite. The seafood is fresh and served beautifully; first courses and salads plentifull. Thai cuisine at its best; Sushi made fresh on the spot; Continental food and meats of the very best; A cheese room unequal in Europe!; Desserts and sweets that made me visit the table more than once.
The only caveat! the outside porche, although it has the best views, is plagued by mosquitoes!

We waited for almost 45 minutes for our fried rice noodle with mushroom, we had to ask the waiter twice! And when the food arrived, we can't eat it as it's very salty. So disappointed.

I am currently doing a review of top 10 roof top restaurants in Bangkok. After I did the state tower at Lebua Millenium Hilton Bangkok was my next stop.

The roof top restaurant is not as high as Lebua but any floor above 30 gives a panaromic view of the things below. Unlike Lebua which has nothing to see nearby Millenium Hilton has the river view which is fascinating.

Once in a while there is a river cruise passing by and you can see the colourful lights. Also the roof top bar is more cosy with much less sitting spaces so you dont feel overwhelmed.

Another thing I noticed is that most of these Roof top restaurants hire good looking english speaking staff which have more attitude problems than the restaurant itself. In the end you feel upset about the fact that you dont care a dime about how the staff looks and how good is their english, you are here for your relaxed evening and view of the beautiful city below. This bar suffers the same problem as Lebua, with a few exceptions. Even Thai Airways Airhostess who fly much higher than these restaurants are much more courteous. hehe..

The prices for a drink ( coctail) is around 450 baht and the food ( mostly starters and tit bits) is around 400 baht for 3 courses ( you can get 3 portions of the same stuff or you can mix and match) but it is still a tit-bit and not filling.

I found the prices much more competitive than Lebua with an evening with great view and about 3000 baht lesser in my wallet.

Over all I would rate it 6/10.

This was our 3rd stay at the Millenium Hilton and one of the main reasons we keep returning is Flow buffet. It is one of the best buffets we have had anywhere in the world with everything from sushi to roast Beef! All the food is freshly prepared and the desserts are little works of art!
All this in a fabulous setting next to the Chao Phraya river makes us want to return again and leave enough room to visit the fabulous cheese room!
