“Not the best but it's worth what we've paid for!”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

Good things to start, I chose this place via agoda.com for price ranges and location wise. With Trip advisor's i found few of my colleague network have stayed.
Our experiences, I dearly like the location, due to our shopping, late night out when this place is close to the BTS and easy to walk. The staff " Long" and Gerong" 2 boys at the reception are friendly and capable to communicate in English well. The water pressure shower was great.
But there are couple of disppointment i get, i see small(tiny) cockroach (1-2) running around the counter when we first check in, there was no soap holder in the toilet, as we have to use the paper box to place the soap after we opened. The handspray in the toilet was hard to press. The glass door to the shower area was squeeky as we are worried if itmight fall off so we were very careful with opening n closing the shower door.
We had a massage just at the ground floor of the hotel, we had it for 3 nights.
Nothing major that would disappoint me.. but overall.. i dont mind coming back there to stay..as it is a convenient place for us like shoppers!

Room Tip: We chose according to the guests comment on Agoda, (corner room) which i think it's more spaciou...

Location was great (BTS Chong Nonsi just across the street) but otherwise this hotel was not much to write home about. The rooms were average and quite small and the aircondition was loud and dripping water all the time. Free Wifi, but it olny worked sometimes. Staff was ok, but sometimes they bothered me a little too much during breakfast, and didn't let me eat in peace. Not good. And the breakfast was not exactly the best i've had. You had to stand in line and wait for the omelets and the tea was watery. Overall there was not much to choose from.
Surroundings were quite good though, with the busy Silom road just a few hundred meters away and, about 1 km from the hotel, the big Lumphini Park. For the price, there are better hotels in bkk.

Room Tip: i think only 7 or 8 floors in this hotel, but generally; always ask for a aroom as high as possible.

the place needs alot of TLC! Instead of the staff sitting there sharpening pencils, they could of been getting the millions of dents, scrapes and paint fade fixed - and possibly change the colour scheme to something a bit more 2013.
The rooms are large with everything you need. But with the addition of baby cockroaches running around all day and night is not something i signed up for....
The staff also speak little to no english, asking for simple items as a "towel" would take atleast an hour to arrive after 15mins of explaining what a "towel" is.
The restaurant has good food - no issues here.
Overall... only stay here if you do not care about appearance and cleanliness.

I like this hotel for its location, their friendly service, their restaurant and swimming, the pool on the roof, nice bar, very good bathroom. During my last stay, I asked for more soft mattress as I had a recent surgery, and they brought me a second big blanket, so that's nice. Only negative point : the restaurant is rather expensive and 2 times the bill was higher than what i initially had ordered.

perfect location, right next to skytrain station which take you everywhere. Friendly staff, very modern and clean rooms. Really good breakfast with a lot of choice. Very nice swimming pool on top of the roof with beautifull view at the skyline of Bangkok. We enjoyed our stay there.

I got 2 nights for 3300 (1650 each) including breakfast in June which is off season.
On the plus side the hotel is very close to Chong Nonsi BTS and a 7-11. Rooms are spacious and the bath tub was massive. The bed was comfy. The black out curtain made the room very dark for sleeping and the room was quiet during the night.
On the negative the room was very gloomy and although non-smoking had a stale smoke smell (as did the entire non-smoking corridor on 8th floor). The corridor is oppressively gloomy and it gives it a seedy feel which could be lifted if they put some good lighting in and gave it a deep clean.
Water pressure in bathroom was not good and it would have taken a silly amount of time to fill the bath.
The safe in the room had been tampered with and I didn't feel safe to leave anything in it.
The room door didn't bolt from the inside so that anyone with a key could get in while you're sleeping.
As a single female traveller it didn't tick the boxes at all.
I like a smoke-free fresh feeling room where I know myself and my possessions will be safe. I felt I had to barrade the door at night and a simple internal lock or catch is all that is needed to give a feeling of security.
It wasn't bad value, but I wouldn't stay again for the reasons outlined.

Bed is Big and comfortable but the bedding is dirty, I asked house keeping change the new.
Rooms and outlook quite old. Water pressure is instable, Air con is out of control, sometimes very cold, sometimes not enough. less choice of breakfast.
WIFI good, swimming is small but clean and good. location good, near BTS station and SEVEN ELEVEN. Quiet at night, My room have two balconies. Very nice service.
Is a good choice for the lower budget hotels.
