“Nothing special”
Reviewed June 20, 2013

I got 2 nights for 3300 (1650 each) including breakfast in June which is off season.
On the plus side the hotel is very close to Chong Nonsi BTS and a 7-11. Rooms are spacious and the bath tub was massive. The bed was comfy. The black out curtain made the room very dark for sleeping and the room was quiet during the night.
On the negative the room was very gloomy and although non-smoking had a stale smoke smell (as did the entire non-smoking corridor on 8th floor). The corridor is oppressively gloomy and it gives it a seedy feel which could be lifted if they put some good lighting in and gave it a deep clean.
Water pressure in bathroom was not good and it would have taken a silly amount of time to fill the bath.
The safe in the room had been tampered with and I didn't feel safe to leave anything in it.
The room door didn't bolt from the inside so that anyone with a key could get in while you're sleeping.
As a single female traveller it didn't tick the boxes at all.
I like a smoke-free fresh feeling room where I know myself and my possessions will be safe. I felt I had to barrade the door at night and a simple internal lock or catch is all that is needed to give a feeling of security.
It wasn't bad value, but I wouldn't stay again for the reasons outlined.

Bed is Big and comfortable but the bedding is dirty, I asked house keeping change the new.
Rooms and outlook quite old. Water pressure is instable, Air con is out of control, sometimes very cold, sometimes not enough. less choice of breakfast.
WIFI good, swimming is small but clean and good. location good, near BTS station and SEVEN ELEVEN. Quiet at night, My room have two balconies. Very nice service.
Is a good choice for the lower budget hotels.

Beds were comfortable, rooms clean, bathroom clean, wifi worked, air con worked great, water pressure was fine. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of western selections. Location is great and right next to train. Quiet at night. Pool is great especially on a hot day.

We originally booked a 1 bedroom suite which promised a sofa bed with separate living room. They gave us a much smaller room and tried to charge us the same rate. They claimed the room that was sold to us on the website did not exist. Dishonestly is a horrible thing. The next night they moved us to the correct suite we originally paid for. Amazing how it suddenly appears.

Our tub broke and no one ever came to fix it.

Yes, we would probably stay here again if nothing else is available. The average rating is more towards the front desk staff and the dishonesty. The rooms and pool get a 4.

Just came back from Bangkok and stayed here roughly a week and a half. We paid $55 a night with breakfast included for the corner suite. We checked in twice because we left for Phuket over the weekend. The first room was not technically a "corner" suite but it had a good size refrigerator and sink. Standard. When we checked in the second time, we actually got a a room on the corner. It had same kitchenette, but TWO balconies! Very nice! However the hotel could use a deep cleaning, fresh coat of paint and as others stated there are roaches, eek! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Great customer service! Located close to transportation which is so important. Great value hotel! Highly recommend.

This is a conveniently located and beautifully designed hotel in the close proximity to all the main landmarks in Silom. However, it sufferes from neglect and - after staying here on several occasions - I think it is getting worse. It is not as clean as it should be, many services and facilities advertised and clearly signposted (for example, bar service by the pool) don't work. On the last stay, even the refreshments in the room were missing and the room had an unpleasant smell. Water in the shower was barely warm. Staff are welcoming and friendly as one would expet in Thailand, but it is not enough of course. Bar prices don't include service and VAT charges, so the final bill is higher than one expects initially; and the bar requires payment in cash unlike most of other hotels. I am unlikely to stay at Heritage Bangkok again despite the convenience it offers.

Room Tip: A cooked breakfast is 300 Baht. If you like street food, there are plenty of options just around the...

Staff at reception not helpful and extremely rude. They were not willing to assist with travel information and they would not let me use the pool while I had to wait until 3.00pm for my room. No place to sit and wait for you room to be ready. The rooms are falling apart with half of the lights not working. The location is the only plus here. I checked out a day early and did not care for a refund. For the same price I stayed around the corner at the Futurxclusive hotel. It was like moving from a backpacker to a five star.

I often travel from Phuket to Bangkok and prefer to get accommodated around Sathorn area of Bangkok since it's not far from Lumphini Park, Silom night life area, Siam Paragon and Central World shopping malls (just two stops by BTS skytrain). This hotel is located right opposite the BTS station so it's very easy to get to the hotel from BTS and from the hotel to the BTS station, as well :) It always was one of the great choices because of its price. It never was expensive. At first time I was impressed (it was more than 2 years ago) - the room was clean, spacey and comfortable. I liked it and decided to visit the hotel once again when I'm in Bangkok. Last year I visited this hotel again and was a bit upset with old and dirty towels in my bath room, a drops of juice or whatever on my beddings. I asked the hotel staff to change it and in about one hour it was changed. Well, I thought it was just an accident - whatever can happen to any hotel or any person. Just a few days ago I stayed at this hotel once again - definitely, it was my last time there. I booked a corner studio room - the highest category of the room they offered for me at this time. The door to the bathroom was looking like a dog gnawed it from both sides. There were woman's hair on the floor, on the table near the mirror, on the sofa, on the beddings. It was looking like no one took care of this room since the other tenants left. It smelled dampness and mold in that room. Since there are another hotel's windows right opposite the room's windows and there are no curtains on the windows but blackout only then you can't get undressed and walk around the room until you curtained windows.
Uncomfortable and dirty. Never again...
