“Great Place to Stay”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

We only stayed one night - the night of our departure, but I wish we had known about this hotel before we began our trip. Next time, we'll go to this hotel and stage our trips around Thailand from there. We set pretty high standards for the hotels we stay in but were extremely well pleased with this hotel. Very clean, spacious room with kitchenette and western style shower/toilet. Very nice little restaurant with a huge lunch/dinner menu at the hotel (we weren't there for breakfast, so I can't say anything about the breakfast menu). Food was delicious. Very courteous and helpful staff. The hotel looked new so maybe it was recently renovated. Everything about the hotel looked new, clean and well maintained. Best wi-fi (it's free) we encountered anywhere in Thailand (and we were all over the country). This was the only place where my roadrunner email system worked properly. Terrific location - a two-block walk to a mall will many very nice restaurants (even a McDonalds) and shops of all kinds. Excellent place to stay and a great price (We paid a little over $30 - compare that to over $200 to stay at the hotel on the airport). About a 10 min shuttle ride to the airport.

I don't understand some of the complaints I've read. Shuttles running every hour isn't a problem if you plan ahead just a tiny bit. Some people will complain no matter where they stay - or maybe the hotel was renovated subsequent to those negative reviews. I have zero complaints about this hotel and highly recommend it.

We stayed here for one night as we had a connecting flight to Beijing the next day. Though we arrived very late at night, we were picked up at the airport and they arranged a drop to the airport the next morning as well. Both the travels were quite comfortable. The rooms are decent, no frills and value for money, worked very well with us since we just needed to spend a night here. Breakfast is decent, we liked the simple menu and promptness of service. Staff are helpful. Overall I would rate this very high for convenience and average on room quality etc. Works best if you want to spend a night for connecting flights

They only have shuttle service in every hour unlike other hotels have service in 15 mins or half hour service. But ok just to sleep & staying there for short time. All facilities were very old & so don't think of spending a long time there. Overnight is just enough.

This hotel is terrible. I don't understand why it's got such good reviews.

The beds are comfortable and the sheets are clean. And that's about all I can think of on the positive side.

Yes, it's close to the airport. Yes, they offer a free shuttle to. And yes, it's very cheap. But there are many many others to chose from in the same price bracket.

The room we were given was horrible. There were hairs on the bed. There was water dripping from the ceiling on to the toilet, so when you had to use it, you got dripped on. The shower was pathetic.

We arrived quite late in the evening and had been discussing how nice it would be to have a nice meal and a cold glass of wine. The restaurant we were shown to was in a car park. And the food was horrible. Some of it was served to us raw.

The website for this hotel is lovely - after having seen it for myself, I have to congratulate them in making it look so good on the site. The reality is that the whole place is tired, dirty and miserable. A rubbish way to end an amazing holiday in Thailand.

Nice simple clean hotel
Staff very helpful
Shuttle service too and from airport is great. You won't find the hotel without. But cheap hotel about £22 for two people
Also breakfast was a good western interpretation by Thai standards

i stayed at this hotel for one night and that was enough, to be fare the hotel isnt that bad it is very close to the airport and a free shuttle to and and from the airport is provided, if you arrive into bangkok late and have an early flight in the morning it is fine for this purpose but dont book it if you are in bangkok for any length of time because it will take you about 30 mins to get into the city, my room was big with a little kitchenette which had a fridge full of beer, water, soft drinks and sweets, two small bottles of water are provided free but for some reason these arent in the fridge, the bathroom was large but the tap on the sink moved when i turned it on or off, you had to hold it with one hand to use it, the staff were all very pleasant though, i cant say anything about breakfast because i didnt make it down in time, however i can tell you that it is served between 7am and 10am and comes at an extra charge.

The room was clean... that is where the pros end. Here are the cons:

1. Front desk tried to steal from me when making change (not exchange, just change)
2. Really bad mold smell
3. KItchen door barely opened
4. Could not find record of our reservation
5. Wouldn't let us check-out until the room was inspected
6. Wi-Fi did not work

Room Tip: Go somewhere else
