It was recommended as one if the best restaurant in Bangkok: it is inside one of the best hotel in city and the welcome is in perfect thay style! As starter I had a soup (bit spicy but delicious), my husband took a plate of various appetizers (very good), followed by two classic dishes of thay cuisine, both very well done! During the dinner we had also a typical thay dancing show! The service of course is excellent! Highly recommended!

Expensive, but excellent food and service in separate pavilion to the hotel with calm and lovely views of the gardens. Preferred it over Nahm.

We went for lunch (group of 12) and ordered many dishes to share. While each dish had a unique and non traditional presentation, the taste was authentic and traditional Thai. We were not disappointed. Celadon serves some of the best thai food we have ever eaten. Although it's not cheap, it's definitely worth a visit if you have special occasion to celebrate. The staff are very helpful (not pushy) with recommendations if you don't know what to order.

One of the better Thai restaurants in Bkk. Food is good. Ambience is good. Service is good. Price is a little on the high side.. But ok since everything is good.

This is my second time here, the first was way back in 1999. Was sceptical at first and expected it to be pricey and probably underwhelmed Thai food for foreigners and visitors. But, although old, the Sukhothai Hotel and Celadon exuded a distinctive charm and very tranquil vibe of a true understated 5 star establishment. Immaculately kept with none of the new world trendy wannabe glitz, excellent service standards our business dinner cum birthday for a colleague was a very very enjoyable evening.

The food was very good. Yes, it is probably toned down in terms of spice and heat, but ingredients and sauces were all fresh and very well made. And really delicious. My scepticism quickly eroded to admiration..... I will certainly be back.
