“Wow it's real art!”
Reviewed November 21, 2013

This place is amazing! Very easy to get to and no charge.
I loved the architecture of the building itself and we viewed a exhibition, is was very enjoyable and helped us expand our appreciation of Thai culture. The first few floors have interesting arty shops and galleries, and floors 6 to 8 are dedicated to exhibitions of local modern art. These change all the time. Not a huge amount of exhibits but definitely some great contemporary art shows.
There are coffee bars and little shops on each floor, as well as exhibits and art spaces. I didn't have much time to explore but it deserves a bit of that. The shops here were interesting and I picked up a few very reasonably priced and unique gifts.
So, next time you are in Bangkok, go to MBK for some great shopping, but don't forget to visit BACC. One of the best deals in Bangkok!

“Great museum to spend a few hours seeing some interesting art!”
Reviewed November 19, 2013

We happened to be around the Siam square in December last year so we went to this museum, at the time the exhibit was about listening and hearing, it was interesting.

The museum is set up in a way that you walk up and look at the art and then once at the time you take the elevator down.

Not a bad place to spend a few hours to get out of the Bangkok heat.

“Well maintained and a good way to spend time”
Reviewed November 6, 2013

Located near the National Stadium BTS Station, opposite the ever popular MBK Mall, this is a good place to go to if you have an hour or so to spare. Well maintained, spacious and with a few galleries of abstract but meaningful art displays. They had interesting small artsy studios selling food and cafes as well.

“Not a museum, but a decent cultural center”
Reviewed November 3, 2013

The place has a direct door to skytrain station in "National Stadium" BTS station and well as the walkway in the center of the city (Siam square) and it is just opposite the MBK mall.

I suggest that you adjust your expectations before visiting and you will enjoy the place. This is a cultural center where different exhibitions are held during the year.

I was lucky enough to see the the Kid's paintings exhibition. Honestly the paintings of kids there , were more advanced than the paintings in national museum of a nearby country (which I won't name). Judging by those paintings (large numbers of them), I guess Thailand can have a bright future. Those kids have very open minds and very good talents.

There were 3 other exhibitions, one about photos related to street protests of a few years ago, another one a street photography exhibition of several photographers and another one about creating arts from recyclable materials.

The center also has tens of shops in it (coffee shops, ice cream, food and also art galleries etc.)

All in all I had good 2-3 hours there (visited twice).

“One of the coolest museums I've been too”
Reviewed October 17, 2013

Modern. Great food. Students taking art classes. Live artists. Amazing urban and street art. Adorable crafts. Cool bookstore. I could've easily spent hours in here. I'm not one for selfies but Thais are & this is definitely a great place to take one.
