I loved the Spice Market. Lots of choices on the menu. Good for trying Thai dishes. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice intimate atmosphere. Loved the little spice box snack before our meal.

Inside the Anantara (before four seasons). Hotel poor ambiance, restaurant is OK. Note the Thai food is nice, adjusted for western experience.
If with a couple, consider taking one set. More than sufficient even if big eaters. Restaurant recommends two sets, we left with more than half of the food spilled / wasted.
All in all a bit of a touristy experience, nice Thai touch but other places are much better. Not expensive though... 1100 baht ++ for a set.

We had our dinner here on our first evening in BKK. After the long flight from morning and hec-tic walk to exchange shop in the midst of town we were very tired and wanted to go to a restaurant with great foods, atmosphere and service. And here it is, Spice Market had evertthing! My son was especially fond of Thai traditional apperizer served.
Fresh mango juice was so good that we forgot how tired we were. As for service, restaurant member name of "So" was exceptionally kind to us through out our meal time. One thing we regret is that we ordered set menu and amount of food was so large that we could not eat them all. Next time we will not order set menu but side dishes. At any rate, dinner at Spice Market was a memorable experience for all of us.

If you're looking for a fine dining or a nice place for a special ocassion - this restaurant will fit. We wanted just to have a taste of varoius Thai food at one time by high chiefs and we got it. We tried a set from the menu, a choice of 7 dishes and this is more than enough for two person, we couldn't finish the dessert, and the food was delicious. Yes, the price is high, but value for dining of that quality.
