This trip combines a cooking demonstration and great eating with a visit to the national park. There is also a great stop at the local market. The guide Peter (not his Thai name) is great. Good English. Very helpful. Really wants you to have a great experience. Finally, there is a great stop at an organic dairy farm for ice cream. I highly recommend this experience.

We had the best tour visiting the National Park with Mr Peter. He is the most professional and full of interesting information. Kind and careful and gave us a lot attention and useful information. Ha made lots of photos of us and we had a class of cooking with him topical dishes in a traditional farm where we had a ride with ox cart before that. Then visit the waterfall and the park and finish with elephant ride !!! Amazing day and we are very grateful to him and tell him Khap kun kaa !!!

Did the Khao Yai National Park tour. Quite the drive to the park, but they're good about stopping for breaks. Once there, the park is huge and you can see elephants walking around. The stairs to the waterfall are STEEP, but the fall is nice. The ox cart ride is basically in a big loop, but the in-home meal was amazing! Best Tom Yam and papaya salad I've ever had. The elephant ride is fun, they let you ride while the elephants walk through water. The drive back to the hotels is super long due to traffic. Overall a great day. Get Mr. Kon if you can, he was a knowledgeable and courteous guide. Highly recommended tour.
