Near a lot of good restaurants, shops and cafes. Close to Emporium. About a 15 min walk to Thong Lor Station and lots of neat bars around. The hotel is clean with good service and with a good restaurant below (not vegan friendly, though). Overall a great place to stay.More

Broken equipment
Previously I have rated this hotel/serviced apartment five stars, the Reception and breakfast crew are wonderful. Considering the encounter I had with the manager (Gal) it is all the more amazing. The washing and drying facilities in each room is the main reason I stay here. It is convenient to do the laundry each night. I get to travel light. (Carry-on is the way to go ). Anyhow on the last two visits they did not work. I asked for them to be fixed or move me to a room where the dryer works. Not possible according to Gal as the rooms were they work will require an upgrade. He was unable to confirm that they would work for my next trip in 10 days. He was able to confirm he would not move me to a room where they worked. I have been coming here for over two years and this is how I’m treated. Next weeks stay which I have booked will be cancelled. My planned trips for FY19 will not involve staying here again. I will personally ensure my training and meeting participants stay in alternative accommodation. You are judged on your weakest performer and this manager is responsible for this poor review. He chose not to resolve my issue

Consy Stay
Had a very quick visit to Bangkok and choose Oakwood Thonglor as it was very close to venue of the event I attended.Appreciated the availability of the room early in the morning that allowed me to freshen up and rest before before heading out. The Reception staff are quite friendly and approachable.There was a supermarket next door that sells organic stuff that opens early.Good area with good restaurants and bars around.

Hospital location hotel
A residence which was close to the hospital advised by travel agent because I was visiting my son who had a serious motorbike accident No one seemed to care or have the courtesy to ask how it was going Robotic staff I slept badly as the mattress were dreadful even with toppers . I used the sofa cushions to sleep on in the end Soulless place The tuk tuk service was invaluable as the street to the hospital was a death trap

Besides its location, it is a good choice
The hotel is located at beyond walking distant from the nearest BTS. If you are a tourist who goes out early in the morning and come back late at night, then this should not be a big problem. You can take the tutuk from the hotel to the nearest BTS when you go out in the morning and take a taxi back when you return at night because the hotel tutuk stops service at 10 p.m.. On the other hand, if you have the habit of returning to the hotel in the middle of the day then this is not a very convenient hotel for you to stay at.

One of the Best place I had stayed in Bangkok
Extremely friendly and helpful staffs meets you at every area of this fantastic accommodation. Near to many yummilicious food such as Duck Noodle, Wanton Noodle, Kway Teow Pork Soup Noodle, Authentic Thai Food Restaurants and many other cuisines.
