The hotel is extremely difficult to find. It took us ages to find it. We were upgraded to a larger room after I complained that I did not want to sleep in a room opposite two guys who were sleeping with their door open! The upgraded room did not have wi fi, but was a quieter and larger room. Our room did not look anything like any of the photos on the hotel's website. The breakfast was very average. The only plus to the hotel is that it is close to the Bumrungrad Hospital.

This was not our first choice, but with a short notice trip to Bangkok on New Years Eve, and looking to stay near the Bumrungrad Hospital we were lucky to find a room anywhere. As it was, we experienced serendipity.
I'll try not to repeat all that has been said before, only to agree with most of it. The Oasis Inn is certainly a special find (but see last paragraph below), and we will definitely return.
The decoration is a little "bright" for us (certainly not "european chic").\, and is a little tatty in parts, but it doesn't matter, because any small faults are totally negated by the spacious rooms and terrific staff.
This was our third visit to Thailand and I can seriously say that the two ladies manning Reception are the most helpful and friendly we have met in Thailand.
Our room (2F) on the second floor measured a total of approx 29 sq mtrs broken down to; bedroom 18sq mtrs, kitchenette 3.5 sq mtrs, and bathroom 7.3 sq mtrs. There is a large refridgerator and the bedroom has a window, but no view (just the back of the next building). There is a large wardrobe and plenty of other storage space.
There ia a good sized tv with excellent reception of lots of channels including US,European, and Al Jazeera. Free WiFi worked OK. We experienced no problems with the water pressure.
The only downside is the construction of a new hotel next door. The noise from this might be disturbing in some rooms, and the work is not due to finish for some time.

Room Tip: See comments re construction next door

We had discovered this hotel in March 2011 and found it was perfect if you are visiting Bumrungard hospital. We again stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. We had room 3C and checked in at almost midnight. As always the Security guard checked us in and within minutes we were in our room. Again we had a wonderful big room and was suprised to find one big double bed and one single bed. The room was clean, big and beautifully decorated. There is an area with a fridge, sink to wash dishes, a counter top and lots of cupboard and closet. They also provide electric water kettle, and cups, bowl and plates! The bath room is also clean, big and the shower is big with shampoo and body soap dispenser. The towels are also provided and changed every day. It was quite at night and we had a good sleep. Although there is a big construction going on right next to the hotel it does not cause any kind of disturbance.
The breakfast is very basic but good. There is cut fresh fruits, bread and butter/jam and cereal. Ofcourse tea and coffee is available. We left the hotel at 6:30am in the morning and our nice security guard had already laid out the breakfast so we could have coffee before we left for the airport. The breakfast is actually suppose to start from 7:30am.
We really would like to thank miss CHIM and the rest of the staff of Oasis Inn for doing a great job. It really is worth the price you pay.
As for location, Bumrungard hospital is right behind the hotel. The Ploenchit sky trian staion is closer to the hotel than Nana station. lots of little shops and restaurants to go and eat right outside the hotel. Also lots of places to have a foot massage on Soi1. The Hansar spa on Soi one, 5 minutes from the hotel is wonderful.
We paid Bhat400 for our taxi ride from the airport to the hotel and in the morning we had to pay only Bhat300 for our trip to the airport. You must use the meter and the toll fee is Bhat45 and Bhat25. You have to pay Bhat 50 extra from the airport but from the city to the airport you don't have to pay the Bhat50.
We got our taxi to the aiport from the Bumrungard hospital as there is always taxis coming and going there.
Thank you Oasis inn for making our second visit so wonderful. We will be back again!

Stayed here for 4 nights, arriving very late and the lovely security watchman signed us in and helped us with the bags.
They accept cash payments which for us was fine. We were in room 4D on the top floor, very lovely, wireless net, chic decor, lovely bathroom and a balcony.
The staff are so accomodating that when I came out from my breast augmentation, they were kind enough to let me have extra pillows for comfort.

Breakfast is simple but yummy, in room safe, bumrungrad hospital is literally only 20 metres from the hotel. All the livelihood of Sukhumvit is there, with Terminal 21 just a short walk, MBK, Central World all not far. Could not find any fault with this lovely lil hideaway hotel.

Will definitely go back when we can and use our 10% return discount card :)

Room Tip: Top rooms witha balcony :)

I stayed at this hotel for about a week and thoroughly enjoyed my stay...

The hotel is nestled away in an extremely busy area of Bangkok, located right behind Bumrungrad Hospital and only a minute's walk from Seven Eleven and a dozen street food stalls.

The staff speak English and are always friendly. The small continental breakfast is average quality and includes various fruits and cereals. Eggs anything is also available at an extra cost (100Baht) and is really yummy, I was under the impression that the meal only included eggs as the image displayed was of eggs and toast, however was pleasantly surprised when the meal came complete with hash browns and sausages.

The hotel is standard and offers the necessities like mini fridge, safety deposit box, and room cleaning. The only downfalls were the economy room have no windows (not mentioned on their website), fruit flies seemed to also be a problem (had to buy some fly spray) other than that... a true oasis.

Room Tip: There is a construction site right outside the hotel at the moment, good luck getting sleep in the m...

I stay at this hotel often when I am in Bangkok. It is comfortable, quiet, the staff is English speaking and exceptionally friendly. The rooms on the 2-4 floors are bright and have a wonderful euro-chic decor. The discount rooms on the first floor have no windows so are a little less desirable. Conveniently located right next to Bumrungrad Hospital which has ATMs, two Starbucks, several fast food restaurants, and a 24 hour taxi stand. It's about five minute walk from the Ploen Chit BTS station. Take exit 3, left on Soi 1, right at the 7-11, jog right-left at the end of that tiny road. Breakfast is simple but good buffet: corn flakes, fruit, and coffee.

Room Tip: Discount rooms on the first floor have no windows. Some rooms have balconies and/or bathrooms with a...
