“Unique restaurant very touristy”
Reviewed October 19, 2013 via mobile

Unique way to order seafood, walk around a n ice counter with many types of fish and vegetables, you pick the items and they put in cart and then tell them how to cook it. Fun to go to once or twice but expensive for what it is and several times they have mixed up dishes while cooking(not a problem if you get the bigger amount but you pay for food before cooking and then you get a cooking bill which I think is tooooooo expensive. Good to go to to see and try once, but being a regular traveler to Bangkok, iwill old not put this as a must every time.

“Its not average, its scizophren,”
Reviewed October 12, 2013

Having been there as we have already been in that restaurant some 25 years ago, same area but different location. So we were familiar with the market principal of the restaurant. You go shopping with the help of the waiter, pay at cashdesk and waiter is bringing food to the kitchen for preparatioon.
. Selection ar shop is not huge, its a lot af similar seafood, but all of them is frozen, not alaive.
. Prices of fish and seafood is rather expensve compared to normal restaurant and even more with marketplaces, where it is even alive.
. The market hall is type of central station, which never will be cosi.
. And cocking is extra a fortune, for same amount we had full dinner.

So all in all avérage not more

“Interesting Concept”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

Using a grocery cart, but all ingredients for a succulent dinner. Purchase it as one would at a store and take it to your chef who will prepare it to your liking. A unique experience not to be missed.

“A few nice flavours but smelly mussels”
Reviewed August 31, 2013

Looked like a good place to eat but we were totally mislead . After arriving myself and 2 friends were seated , then we were served some drinks , all good .
We then got like a super market trolley to select our seafood which was not cheap in any description . So as I've never tried a lobster in Thailand and other seafood we chose our seafood and then moved on to the other ingredients ( which was also over priced )
I then selected a nice bottle of Australian sav blanc .
6000 baht later we sat down and told our waitress how we wanted it all cooked .
I then asked for some fresh mint & coriander to mix up with my fresh mango to make a salsa to go with my scallops .
All this we ordered and ate which was not too bad , except for the mussels which I told them they smelt very bad and seemed off ?
After all this they still sent me another bill for cooking all of it so after a total of over 7000 baht I thought we could have got lots of change going somewhere else .
Also as we were one of the few people there "lots of staff all stood around us " looking at us instead of clearing our plates ?
We won't be back sorry !

“Tasty Seafood!”
Reviewed August 26, 2013

We love this restaurant because of the good quality of seafood and cooking art. We came here for dinner almost every time we visited Bangkok. My sister is good at selecting the best seafood and we just sit and relax to enjoy them. The Garlic butter King Prawns and the yellow curry Meat Crabs are must-ordered dishes. The steam Sea bass tasted also excellent with fine soft meat. Then of course the Asparagus fried with garlic cannot be missed out. Though a bit pricy for dinner in Thailand but it's still worth for money.
