Tenface hotel is an apartment hotel. You can get a suite with a kitchenette or just a room with a mini bar. I chose the mini bar. Suite was huge! Over 650 sq ft - bigger than my own condo. The interior was dark but tastefully done. A separate bedroom and living area, massive tub/shower/washroom. I did not eat at the hotel at all though there is a fancy dinning restaurant there.

We stayed there for three days. Room should be called suite due to has the living room and bed room. Ten Face, an unique decoration with the Thai mythology story. Though it hidden in the ally and hotel provide the free tuk tuk to pick you up from BTS. Very good idea to provide you the local sim card for free and ond day pass for BTS. It's hard to imaging that you stay in this unique hotel.

We stayed at Tenface for 2 nights. Room 1708 is a 2 bedroom suite on the 6th floor. It was extremely spacious and comfortable. There is a balcony in every room and the views are decent My only issue was the amount of ants I saw in the master bathroom. Oh, and the Gecko behind the couch in the living room. LOL I am BIG on bathrooms and both were very nice in this room. They each had their own bathtubs as well. Oh, which brings me to my last bathroom issue - The hose next to the toilet used to clean yourself (which I NEVER use anywhere) was a little disturbing. Overall - fair cleanliness, spacious, and comfortable.

The staff was very nice and helpful. We were able to book our excursions/event tickets directly through the hotel. However, I will say that booking a driver for the day through them will be a waste of time as metered taxis are super cheap and easy to find.

Location is great but it is somewhat difficult for drivers to find. Walking distance to NaNa Street which seems to be a main strip for bar hopping and local hangout. The mall is about a 10 minute drive and it's HUGE. One of the coolest experiences we had was eating at the 'food court' in the mall. Great food and super cool fine dining feel. The only downfall is that traffic is horrible so it can be about a 30-40min cab ride to the temples near Grand Palace. Given the modern feel of Tenface, it is worth the extra drive time.

Room Tip: If arriving late, you can find a nice seafood restaurant (and bars) that is open into the wee hours...

A big thank you to all the team at Tenface.....loved my stay.

Room Tip: A room on the opposite side to the freeway is the perfect choice.

After a very enjoyable stay in August 2012, we decided to return to Tenface for 3 nights. However, this time our stay was not quite enjoyable. Once again, we stayed in a one bedroom suite, which is absolutely huge with a decent view of the Bangkok skyline. The size of this hotel room is second to none-almost like a small apartment. However, shortly after checking in, we began to notice some problems. Firstly we noticed the room hadn't been maintained very well-marks on the wall, a few stains on the carpet and writing on the room service menu. Nothing major but just not as nice as months ago. But the major issue we had was the sudden strong smell of cooking (fried food and fish) that appeared in our room, which we traced to the air conditioner in the living room. It was really strong. When we told the front desk, they sent someone up with some air fresher. When we inquired as to the source of the smell, we were told that the room opposite us was in fact a serviced apartment and the smell was coming from their cooking. When we requested another room, they quickly found one on another floor for us. This room didn't have any cooking smell issues, however it did smell slightly damp, and we later discovered that the bathroom had an issue with bad smell coming from the drain (very common in Bangkok but not what you would expect from a new boutique hotel). Since it was contained to the bathroom, we didn't bother complaining this time as we didn't feel like moving again (plus we knew the hotel was quite full). We feel like the staff did their best to help us during these problems.

Positives:
-Friendly and helpful staff
-Free 24h tuk tuk to local areas (they would also pick you up if you call them)
-Massive rooms with separate living room
-Big balcony
-Close to good restaurants and cafes (I would highly recommend Baan Glom Gig which won Thailand Tatler Best Restaurants Award 2011)
-Free micro SIM card and one-day pass for BTS Skytrain
-Comfortable bed and pillows
-TV in the bedroom

Negatives:
-10-15 minute walk from Ploen Chit BTS station
-Issues with smells
-Rooms are a bit dim
-Loud AC
-TV is a bit small with average selection of channels
-Rooms haven't been maintained very well
-Room cards didn't work well for lift or room door
-Expensive room service (though the selection and quality looked quite good)

Room Tip: Ask for a floor without serviced apartments to avoid smell from their cooking.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. Living room was big with 2 nice big rooms as well. However there was only one room with a bath tub. Air con in the entire apartment was great, cold enough.
Service from the hotel was cool, 5 star standard. Location was abit too far in, is scary to walk in the dark, but the hotel provided 24hr tuk tuk service and pick u up at the junction. Seriously cool about this. Once at the junction its about 15mins walk to centralworld and the BTS station.
Overall this hotel is pretty cool.
