Stayed the 2nd time this month but still smitten by the charm of this small but cozy hotel. Juz love the arty witty feel of the decos, n the excellent usage of colors, materials, lightings within a tight yet warm place.

Overall, clean rooms, nicely equipped, super service level, delicious food, excellent cocktails and mocktails - quiet and very relaxing stay

Last week i have an oportunity to visit Ten Face Hotel with my classmate from Faculty of Achitecture Chiang Mai University, in order to get some information about hotel's design for my last year work. Ten Face has a very warm welcome, a great conceptual design which links to comfortable environment and a modern decoration. Thanks to Ten Face Staffs for lots of knowledge and infrmations.

I recently stayed at Tenface for a 6 night stay in Bangkok. A friend and I each got the least expensive room, and would've happily paid double the discounted rate that we received. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our rooms included a large living room, large bedroom, and full bathroom with HUGE showers. The only concern I had after reading the other TripAdvisor reviews was the bathrooms. I felt like I didn't see a whole lot of information about them. Rest assured that they are more than adequate.

Each of our rooms also came with balconies (this may be every room, but I am not certain). The tuk-tuk was always readily available for quick trips around town, and inexpensive taxis are always on site to take you further. The beds were huge with tons of different kinds of pillows to choose from. Very comfortable. There were good sized safes in each room that were easy to program, and housekeeping stocked the room with 4 free bottles of water each day. There was a little bit of street/train noise on occaision, but in a city of 10 million people, what do you expect? The entire place was very clean. There is also laundry service, but it was a bit pricey. The hotel breakfast is a little on the pricey side as well, but very good. There were 2 flat screen TVs in the room, although there is enough to do that like us, you will probably never have time to watch them!

Room Tip: We paid less than $60 per room per night on Agoda.com!!!

TenFace is by far the best place to stay in BK. Staff are lovely, location is central, rooms are perfect. They even give you a local SIM for your mobile and an all day train ticket to get you started. How good is that?! To people who complain about the lack of english speaking staff maybe learn a little Thai it goes a long way.

This is a hidden gem and is worth trying because for all that it offers it makes up for its location.

Pros:

Hip design, funky vibe, with edge makes you feel like a 21st century boutique traveller. They pay attention to the small details.

The most impressive part that makes you automatically know you made the right choice it the welcome pack. For those who havent been to BKK before, receiving a BTS travel card, a Thai mobile SIM card, useful contacts, places of interest and a map is a very nice touch. More hotels should do this. Even for the well seasoned BKK traveller, there is always someone who is without a Thai SIM or everyone needs a BTS card!

The room is comfy and like a modern & well designed show flat apartment. Inroom Nespresso for a fee and complimentary wifi.

You dont have to return anything from the welcome pack when you leave and every time you check in, you will receive a new one! Which makes me think that they could just top up for frequent travellers, as it becomes a waste.

Cons:

Location: Difficult to find as it is on located in a back lane facing BTS track, there is not much nearby and the nearest 7-11 is 15 minutes walk out. Hence, the hotel serves a free tuk tuk shuttle service to 7-11 and also the main road, where you can get to Nana BTS station. However, you may have to wait and it may not accomodate your big group and if you are caught in rainy season, that might be difficult. TIP: Call when you are on the BTS or near Nana station and book them, give them 15 mins, then you can be sure not to be without a ride back.

Room & Building: It is a low rise and so you may hear noise from the track, opposite buildings or the nearby lanes. There were mosquitos in my room when I arrived, which is in my mind a no no. I think they open up the balcony doors to air out the room but not to realize that this low rise attracts mosquitos indoors means it can be frustrating and unpleasant if like myself you attract and react badly to them. The bathroom is the most disappointing part of the room, it is small and quite basic and the amenities do not really reflect the quality/design of the overall hotel.

Breakfast has both cold and hot options but not overwhelming, depending on what you like, there probably is something for everyone but not the highlight of this hotel.

The pool is a long and small area and directly facing an outdoor bar/seating area. Not a private nor relaxing environment, so if you just want to swim then it is fine, but if you want to chillax poolside in the sun, then this is not for you.

Overall good value for money and is a good option for hip service apartment in Bangkok, they have two bedroom apartments too. I would recommend this for travelling couples/friends rather than families with children.

This isn't a central hotel , but it compensates for it wit an excelente price/quality . The service is perfect, from the moment you check in to check-out. All very helpfull. The amenities in the hotel are great. The shuttle that takes you to the skytrain is allways available and it takes less than 5 good minutes. We allways had the pool to ourselves. Room was huge with everything you could need. The box they give you upon checkin has a sim card , and small maps and other recommended stuff . I would return .

The only not so good thing is that you can't walk out of the hotel to visit central Bangkok. Must take Sky Train ..unless you want to walk a few hours in the sun.

Room Tip: Ask for the perfect pillow and upper floors

Tenface hotel is a wonderful boutique hotel that presents a small getaway from the bustle and chaos of Bangkok. The rooms are incredibly spacious with a separate living and bedroom areas. Each room has a balcony and a generous sized bathroom. Overall, the hotel is great value for the amenities that you get. There is even the capacity to have an expresso each morning for breakfast in your room as there is a nespresso machine in each room (though each nespresso capsule is pretty pricy at 150baht).

I would recommend this charming hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a luxurious hotel close to the bustling city centre. The only downside is the location of the hotel. It's located at the end of a small soi in Sukhumvit, about a 10-15 minute walk to the BTS station. The hotel does provide a tuk tuk shuttle service to the BTS station, and for the most part the pick up and drop off service is fairly reliable.
