“Great comfortable stay!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 20, 2014

This is my second time staying at this small, centrally located boutique hotel in the pratunam market area. Clean, quiet hotel with comfy beds and big flat LED TV. Wide selection on channels. Complimentary fast wifi in room. Complimentary 2 bottles of water with kettle and ref inside the room. Hotel specialize vegan foods and have decent spa on another building nearby and fitness facilities. Guest have complimentary tuktuk ride every half hour to main petchburi road with nearby Platinum Mall the shopping haven and Pantip Plaza Computer City. Nearby is the night market and lots of cheap eats, seven elevens, apparel markets and Indra Regent Mall, another shopping paradise. Massage parlours are numerous in the area so after the day's hectic shopping a nice body massage costing 250 Baht is recommended.
Food court at the 3rd floor at the Indra Mall. More exquisite buffet dinner at Bayoke Sky, Bangkok's tallest building just 5 minute walk away. Money changer is nearby too as well as stalls selling local fruits like durian.
There is a tour company at the lobby offering various tours like the floating market and temple tours. 3 PCs for use at the lobby and complimentary.
It's nice to stay here as I have for 3 nights. Very central and value for money.
Will recommend highly to my friends. The hotel is a little hard to find as its located on a small side street.
Hope this is helpful for tripadvisor readers.

Room Tip: Located near the Ratchprarop station. Take the train on the basement of the airport or the airport l...

My Brother and I stayed at this hotel last week for 5 nights. I am writing this review based on budget travel where expectations were kept low prior to the stay.

We arrived at the hotel in the evening around 830pm. The hotel lobby was clean and neat. Doorman was prompt in helping us with our luggage. Check in was swift.

We were impressed by the cleanliness of the room. It wasn't too big; good size for walking around without bumping into anything. By the last day when we have all the shopping bags lying around, there was still plenty of space. There weren't much to watch on TV though. If you are expecting international channels like HBO, National Geographic, you will be disappointed. Most are local and Indian channels among some China, Korean channels.

There is free wifi in our room and signal was good. Can stream movie without breaking.

The maid cleaned our room everyday, helped us keep our shoes neat, changed our towels everyday, replaced our bottles of water everyday and even gave us a new roll of toilet paper everyday even though we didn't use up the first roll. Haha.

There is free tuk tuk service to nearby places. We took the tuk tuk couple of times to the BTS station. Though the driver did not drop us directly at the station; he dropped us about 300m away. The short walk is fine.

Just outside the hotel is the pratunum market area. Lotsa shopping can be done here and at cheaper prices than MBK or Platinum. I bought a dress at Platinum for 300 baht after bargaining it down from 500 baht; then I saw the same dress at the market selling at 150 baht!! *Bummers* The food here was fantastic too. My personal tip: the chicken kebab, fried rice and the banana + egg prata is a must try!

On our last day, we decided to take the airport rail to the airport instead of the taxi due to possible protest blocking major roads. The Ratchaprarop station is a short 3 min walk away! One of the doorman which I forgot to take his name, didn't just direct us to the station. He walked us there, right to the elevator! Helping us carry 30kg luggage! I sure hope to see him again when I return. =)

Would I stay at this hotel again? Sure thing!

Went there for honeymoon this hotel spoiled it. Cheated by Yatra.com which booked this hotel for me. Very bad location for honeymooners. Have lot of massage parlors in vicinity. Located in market area which is really bad and stinky. It is like a hotel at fish market. Rooms end where they start(its too small).
But it is very near to market and malls where you get stuff at cheap rate.
Hotel doesn't even have its own restaurant hence you wont get food after 10pm.
It is a budget hotel would recommend this hotel only to group of buys who are for fun at Bangkok and with limited budget.

Room Tip: Dont go to this hotel

It's my 4th trip to Bangkok and based on my hubs' recommendation, I decided to book a room at Citin.

Check in was swift and we got a room at the new tower upon request.

Room size is acceptable, enough space to open up two big luggages.

Bathroom was okay but not elder-friendly as there was no handle to grab beside the bathtub. Bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste btw.

The shower was a little hard to meddle cos it's either too hot or too cold, took a while to find the "G spot".

Bed was a little too hard for my liking and the pillows too soft, okay maybe I am a fusspot.

TV channels were a great disappointment as there wasnt a single movie channel in English language, most channels were reporting news and in other languages, the Chinese movie channel (Xing Kong) which I eventually found was good but had a few 30-min advertisements in between and really pissed me off.

Couldn't find any cartoon channels so if you're bringing kids, bring your own entertainment.

My stay didnt come with breakfast but I heard the veg breakfast is pretty popular with vegetarians.

You will be spoilt for choice with food and shopping right outside the hotel, try the roadside food stalls if your stomach can take it. Platinum is within walking distance, 10min maybe. Indra Square has some shops too and if u wake at 4am u could explore the early morning market where they sell really nice and affordable clothes in wholesale prices. They start packing up the stalls around 8am cos the roads need to open up for vehicles.

May stay at Citin again this year end if they bother to review the tv channels.

Stayed here with my spouse in February 2013.
Being in Bangkok you just cant expect the loneliness, quite and cozy atmostphere. The hotel is located right in the midle of the market.
the room was clean and spacious. Basic amenities were there. Many indian restaurants around so no problem in finding indian food.
Girls pull up your socks cuz its a lot to shop around and guys hide your wallets cuz the gals are gonna shop heavy from here.
Overall a nice trade off between the money you spend and the quality you get.
Recommended for a budget hotel. Go for it..!!

Room Tip: Choose a room with city view.

We stayed at the hotel from 24th Dec to 30th Dec 2013, there were 5 of us and we booked two connecting rooms where one room is a king/queen size bed and the other room has three single beds.

We arrived there on Christmas Eve and were told that the connecting rooms were only available on Christmas Day at the Citin building 1 (the one with the hotel reception) and we were given 200 baht discount for the first night. We stayed at Citin building 2 (room 2310 and room 2311) for the first night. the rooms generally were quite okay except the shower was quite difficult to control the temperature of the heater. Any little movement will cause the water to become very hot or very cold.

The reception called our room the next day to remind us to move our luggages to the recpetion so that we can check into our connecting rooms when we return to the hotel in the evening. We were allocated to connecting rooms 1505 and 1506. The rooms allocated were generally very clean but the lights above the king size bed were faulty.

Housekeeping services everyday were very good except they did not replace the shower caps in room 1505 from the 3rd day till the very last day of our stay there. The shower temperature in both bathrooms were also quite difficult to control.

Though the hotel is quite far in but those food stores along the road were all very interesting and the food tasted very good too !

The staff at the reception area were all very friendly and helpful when we asked for directions or help.

The hotel breakfast (the restaurant is located at Citin Building 2) is not too bad if you don't mind having bread and vegetaian and some noodles, the restaurant will change the vegetaian dishes every morning.

Room Tip: Choose a room in the building where the hotel reception is located and high floor so that it's l...

It is located in local wholesale market, gives an experience of local urban life of Bangkok. Good tailors and Indian restaurants are located closeby. Hotel rooms are clean, staff is courteous and free Tuk Tuk service is available every half an hour to local train station. Breakfast is a big disappointment. Same vegetarian menu is served with slight variations. It is surprising that the restaurant is run by Sagar Ratna but they do not serve aloo puri or south indian breakfast. Overall a very good budget hotel.
