I was in bangkok for my honeymoon after phuket and pattaya. Really liked the hotel rooms , not huge but adequate for a couple and equipped with modern amenities, reception staff were OK if not great. Our room was allocated in a different building, WiFi connectivity was almost average, overall ok as the hotel is located right in the market with lots to eat and shop nearby

Stayed in the hotel for 5 days.. Overall, it feels like the place is overpriced.. The building was under renovation when we were there.. The breakfast is indian vegetarian, which is overpriced and might not suit meat eaters like me.. The service at the front desk was nt up to standard.. Asked for rough estimate of taxi fare to a certain location but it was anyhow given.. Asked for booking of river cruise and location, yet was given a rough location and no details on how to book.. luckily there was internet in the room and hot shower.. There are nearby hotels with breakfast with cheaper prices..

I stayed at Citin Pratunam for a total of 3nights with my 2 friends.

This hotel is nice and clean, good for people traveling on a budget. Location wise, it is actually a 10 minute walk from the nearest station, Ratchaprarop, which is only a half an hour train ride from Suvarnabhumi Airport Station. There is actually a short cut from the station to the hotel which we didn't realized only until the last day when the bellboy carried our luggage and walked us to the station. The shortcut is admist the dark alleyway behind the streethouses and across the railway tracks. It is also extremely close to shopping areas with the Pratunam market just a turn at the corner, family mart and shop houses in the vicinity and the Platinum Fashion Mall at a mere 10 mins' walk.

My friends and i lugged our luggage all the way from the station to the hotel. Throughout the walking, we were being directed by the friendly and helpful local Thais along the way. Upon reaching the entrance of the hotel, the bellboy rushed out and helped us with our luggage and we were extremely thankful for that.

However, i do find that the hotel was understaffed and there seemed to be long queues at the reception desk with only 2 staff helping out. Service was fast though, although the queuing time could be made shorter with the employment of more staff. One thing to note was, during the 2 episodes of enquiring at the reception desk for adaptors, we were refused by the staff saying that they had run out of adaptors.

Hotel room was clean, with free mineral water and towels replaced every single day and even a hair dryer so that was good.

Massage at the hotel's spa was good and cheap, even cheaper than the rates at the massage parlous opposite as they have a 20 percent discount during the timing of 2-4pm, rendering a body massage for only 240 baht instead of 300 baht an hour. It was so relaxing and comfortable that i actually fell asleep! For body massages, i would personally recommend the hotel's as i feel that the sheets and mattress is more hygienic and there is privacy given.

My friends and i would like to commend this particular bellboy named A, for his exceptional unobliging service. He was the bellboy who rushed out to help us with our luggage and the one who carried out luggage of 45 kg all the way to the station. He also drove the tuktuk and dropped us at convenient places when my friends and i wanted a quick lift. There was this incident where he just came back to the hotel, perspiration all over his head from a tuktuk drive in the heat outside, and he agreed to give us a lift to the Platinum fashion mall immediately despite us asking him to rest and cool down first.

All in all, it was a very enjoyable stay for my friends and i and we would definitely recommend this hotel to any travelers on a budget or only in BKK to shop till they drop!

-service was not that good , asked for a universal charger they do not have any , asked for a bottle opener they do not have it as well.

- wanted to ask for an additional towel , 50 baht was their price (and we thought it was for the whole 4 nights) and its pretty reasonable so we agreed , and the next day when we ask for the towel to be replaced they wanted to charge us 100baht.

- location was good, but the streets are pretty rowdy , many cars n jams around the road making it very cramp for us to even walk out.

-breakfast , it was..... not good at all. Very little food, and their space for breakfast is so small and cramp.

Not worth it for the $ we paid could have found better hotels to stay in.
But thankfully theirs free tuk tuk service that's the only thing we are glad of.

My friends and i really enjoyed the service of the hotel, the free tuk-tuk was a plus and the location of the hotel is excellent we didn't had to take taxi to go shopping malls like platinum fashion mall , zen , big c. The hotel is very near the pratunam market so we didn't had to wake up really early to go.

The only bad thing was we found a bed bug on the 2nd last day of our trip, we requested for a changed of room and ended up with a room with leaking air-con but that's fine. The only thing we are concern is the bedbugs, please do something about it.

My friend found some bedbugs in her luggage while unpacking.

Really enjoyed the service, hope the hotel will do something about the bedbugs.
