My friends and i really enjoyed the service of the hotel, the free tuk-tuk was a plus and the location of the hotel is excellent we didn't had to take taxi to go shopping malls like platinum fashion mall , zen , big c. The hotel is very near the pratunam market so we didn't had to wake up really early to go.

The only bad thing was we found a bed bug on the 2nd last day of our trip, we requested for a changed of room and ended up with a room with leaking air-con but that's fine. The only thing we are concern is the bedbugs, please do something about it.

My friend found some bedbugs in her luggage while unpacking.

Really enjoyed the service, hope the hotel will do something about the bedbugs.

with your limited budget and shopping mood this is the best place to stay.. as it is located near the shopping streets and gives you all kind of comfort and services.. if you are going for shopping then this is the best hotel to stay as when you come out of the hotel you can see the shops lined up selling all the stuffs you are willing to buy..

If you are planning to shop till you are drop in Pratunam area and you are on a tight travelling budget, this is the place. And you like to know the reality of how the locals live in this peaceful country, then this is the hotel. The hotel has its basic needs - hair dryer / clean towels / clean room / hot flask for boiling water.

However, if you intend to shop at Siam area like MBK. It can be troublesome as you need to walk to a distance to catch the BTS trains. Alternative you could take the new train that link from Airport and transfer to Phayi Thai station to catch the BTS.

Be prepared that you may have problem in finding the hotel if you are first time staying here especially at night and as the hotel is located in a narrow lane, at peak hours (in the evening from 5.30pm onwards), it is very diffcult for taxi to drop you in front of the hotel. This hotel is not suitable if you are bring young kids.

The service for breakfast needs to be improve for sure but with the price that you are paying, you can't ask for more.

Room Tip: Please indicate that you wants to have a room that is has the main reception.

found this hotel via internet and my friend from http://www.vfamilytravel.com/ to book this hotel.
Being read some reviews for others traveler and finally decided to stay here. The room is small but enough for us to stay. the room and the bathroom are clean. the WIFI in the room is excellent.
The location is perfect and easy to find food, and transformation. Many street food just in front of the hotel. the staffs are also friendly and helpful.
if your room include breakfast, then the breakfast will served at Sugar vegetarian restaurant which served only the vegetarian food :-) ... which we were so surprised :-) since we are not vegetarian people.
Overall. We are happy to stay here.

Room Tip: for very active traveler who not spend so much time at the hotel . the room is only for sleep not to...

We walked to the hotel from Ratchaprarop(?) Airport Link station; yes, it is doable! Follow the sign that says 100m to Baiyoke Sky Hotel and ask for directions once you're at the front of Baiyoke Sky Hotel. We didn't ask initially and walked around the perimeter of Baiyoke Sky to this secluded area. It wasn't dangerous since it was bright day-light and a kind security man directed us towards the bustling street market area. It was still hard to find since it is our first time in this area but ask the locals; they know the area very well!

Eventually we found the hotel in one of the bustling alley-ways. Do not afraid that this is an alley and hence, less prominent than one of the main roads, making it dangerous to return at night... Absolutely no worries at all. My friend and I went back to our hotel at 11:30PM almost daily - street was still full of locals and tourists and we didn't feel any risk at all, 100% safe. Anyway, once the hotel staff spotted us, the bell-boy ran briskly to pick up our luggage from our hands - much appreciated! :) I must say that hotel service is significantly above-par! Also, we didn't take the free tuk-tuk to the nearest BTS station at all as waiting time could be lengthy if you missed the previous tuk-tuk, we preferred to walk to see the sights and we almost always took a meter-ed taxi (cheaper than BTS most of the time).

I enjoyed the street food near to the hotel, especially the AMAZING TOM YUM SOUP made by a Muslim-Thai uncle... Not sure if he is still there but if he is, you MUST TRY IT! beats anything in SG anyday.... I enjoyed the street Pad Thai and meat sewers as well although my friend felt that the pad thai was a tad sweet!

Rooms were spacious, clean and was good overall. I did notice a lot of dust on random corners in the room but it didn't bother me as it didn't affect the main functions of what I was using it for. Wifi can be weak but sit near the door when using - the signal is naturally stronger.

Platinum and pratunam market are also AMAZINGLY close by... Awesome location if you're there fore the shopping! In conclusion, I had a great 4 nights and 5 days with this hotel! OH AND ON DEPARTURE, we didn't take a taxi but the more convenient Airport link instead and the bell-boy took our bags, brought us through this SHORT-CUT (which made us feel so stupid that we walked the longgg way around always) THROUGH DARK LANE-WAYS AND ACROSS TRAIN TRACKS and deposited everything (us and heavy luggage) at the entrance of Ratraprarop. Was impressed because didn't expect hotel service to go so far - simply expected to say bye and GO! But Wow... PROPS to Citin Pratunam - great service, great location, great value; I left with a really good impression and I'd be back again!

Room Tip: Although some tips say having a room in the 2nd building was inconvenience, it was fine for us. If y...

Stayed for 4nights at the hotel. Encountered a rude staff Mario upon checking in, he just threw my passport on the reception table. Poor service. Tuk tuk provided by the hotel was like a scam, the tuk tuk will drop u "nearby" the destinations, took the tuk tuk to the nearest bts, end up driver alight me few hundred metres from location and say I will have to walk. 2nd day when I gave tips to the driver, totally different service. Location was inconvenient, need to walk thru the busy ally everyday to reach the main street or platinum shopping mall. Room was decent though abit small.

This small cosy budget hotel is tucked away in a small side lane of a busy shopping area. very good for people on free and easy trip with light bags as not easy to get taxi to travel in this small and narrow lane. However the hotel provide free tuk tuk service to the nearest Airport line Ratchaprarok station which is only 25 minutes away from the airport at 40 bahts !!!! Hotel provides free wifi service . You can get food 24 hours right in front of the hotel !!!!!
Staff are very friendly and service oriented which provide excellent service.I stayed 2 nites here with the last day in another hotel during the new year holidays. when I switch hotel on the last day to Baiyoke sky , they even help me to carry my heavy bags(total 4 heavy bags due to wife shopping) to the hotel which is about 300m away !!!!

Room Tip: I stay in the old wing. believe the new wings should be better being new.
