Sit indoors or out depending on the weather and enjoy great chicken schnitzels with houmus, salad and chips and pita if you like...the falafel is great also as well as the fresh fruit shakes...quick service and nearly always busy...once a week when in Bangkok for us for a decent square meal...Shoshana does it right!

“Sooooo Good!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 29, 2013 via mobile

We went here for dinner last night and were VERY pleasantly surprised! The food is some of the best Mediterranean/ Israeli I've had anywhere. I must agree with previous reviews that the baba ghanoush (eggplant salad on their menu) is absolutely to die for. We had hummus, shawarma, and tabbouleh salad, and loved it so much we will absolutely be back before we leave Bangkok. Must try this little gem!

“Best baba ghanoush!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2013

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this restaurant! There is limited outside seating and a line-up when we arrived - it's obviously quite popular. When we received our meals we understood why. Everything we ordered (falafel, pita, hummus, baba ghanoush, salad...) was tasty and plentiful. The baba ghanoush was really, really good! The price is very reasonable for the amount of food served - no one left hungry. We will certainly go back next time we're in Bangkok.

“Good food, but slow service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2013 via mobile

Good food, but slow service ... therefore don't go there hungry ;-)
Funnily, it is directly located to a fierce competitor: another Israeli food restaurant called "Sarah" (see my separate critique on that one).
The food is definitely better than Sarah's but it is still not top of the notch. Also, it is quite pricey, if you compare it with the overall offer of food in the Khao San area. But if you are aiming for Israeli food in Khao San, then you do not have a lot of choices left.
Nevertheless, the staff is very nice and friendly. And I will be back again.
