Bussaracum has moved from its previous location on Soi Phiphat and is now located in a traditional old-Bangkok house, only a block from Silom Road. It is well worth a visit, for the surroundings, the service, the care taken to present every dish beautifully, and the flavour and variety of the dishes themselves. The extensive menu includes many items that may not be familiar to a visitor. We were enchanted by the Miang Kham appetisers (small pieces of delicacies wrapped in a chaplu leaf) and the Hor Mok Thalee was also excellent. We requested that the food should be prepared in the traditional Thai style without any toning down of the spices and were served the genuine article. A bottle of Chilean cabernet, the wine promotion of the month, was very reasonably priced, as indeed was the entire meal, considering the style of the restaurant and the quality of the food and service. I am happy to have re-discovered Bussaracum in its new location - it is definitely high on my list for a return visit before long.
