Chinatown is crowded but fun to look at all the wares for sale, bargain hard! Enjoyed the Chinese medicine shops.

“Great for people watching”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2012

Get there early before the tourists come. The easy way is to use the BTS skytrain (get off at Hua Lamphong station).

There is a huge wholesale market for cloths, shoes and toys . The jetty is close by so you can take a river taxi for a cruise on the Chao Phraya or just to go the other side (where the temples are)
