Visited this "house" restaurant set in beautiful gardens in a quiet part of Soi 23. Got there just in time to order before last orders at 2pm so hastily chose a Pho Bo, their shrimp Vietnamese spring rolls, crepe stuffed with pork, some shrimp, mushroom and bean sprouts, plus stir fried vegetables and one portion steamed rice. The Pho Bo comes in the normal large bowl of stock, noodles, some beef and extra bean srouts and fresh herbs plus lime to add to taste but with an additional small pot of concentrated stock with a burner in which you can cook some thinly sliced upper grade beef. This was very good indeed as were the spring rolls with dipping sauce. Pancake was beautifully crisp stuffed full but perhaps a little bland though the addition of a few drops fish sauce and some hot chili lifted it to where I wanted it!
All in all a super place, good food, lovely surroundings and good value.
