“Relaxing, intimate place for good food in Central Bangkok”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 24, 2013

Visited this "house" restaurant set in beautiful gardens in a quiet part of Soi 23. Got there just in time to order before last orders at 2pm so hastily chose a Pho Bo, their shrimp Vietnamese spring rolls, crepe stuffed with pork, some shrimp, mushroom and bean sprouts, plus stir fried vegetables and one portion steamed rice. The Pho Bo comes in the normal large bowl of stock, noodles, some beef and extra bean srouts and fresh herbs plus lime to add to taste but with an additional small pot of concentrated stock with a burner in which you can cook some thinly sliced upper grade beef. This was very good indeed as were the spring rolls with dipping sauce. Pancake was beautifully crisp stuffed full but perhaps a little bland though the addition of a few drops fish sauce and some hot chili lifted it to where I wanted it!
All in all a super place, good food, lovely surroundings and good value.

“Good Viet food in a quaint house”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 29, 2013

The restaurant is in a lovely house with a small garden that's so photogenic (I'm always looking for that perfect spot to take pictures in, haha!) I had to wait inside the restaurant for half an hour because my family was stuck in traffic but the staff didn't seem to mind. The food is good, better than expected. We had about five dishes, and there were just so many veggies on the side. The price is a little high compared to other restaurants in Bangkok but this is a good place to splurge a little.

“Nice taste of Vietnam in Bangkok”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2013

A special restaurant for a special occasion. Tasty, well prepared and presented Vietnamese food in a beautiful setting.
Not cheap, but excellent for birthdays and those other celebratory meals.
Ate there several times during my work in Bangkok.

“Horrible - not authentique at all !!!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2013 via mobile

Bad food, tourist trap. Was recommended by intercontinetal hotel concierge - we spent 30 minutes to get there and the food was just not good. I love vietnamies food and this was at its worst. do yourself a favor - don't go there.

“Authentic viatnamese food at its best”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2013

Le Dalat is an excellent Vietnamese restaurant located in Sukhamvit Soi 23. Le Dalat continues to set high standards over the many times we have been there over the last few years. Traditional dishes authentically prepared and served with a basket of fresh herbs. Le Dalat has a wonderful ambience with a hint of Vietnam's French colonial past that continues to draw us back. Recommend the Goi Cuon, Pho Bo and Ban Xeow as well as the chicken salad although the Mushroom Salad disappointed. Check out the restrooms for a saucy surprise!
