“Nice Hotel for the price”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2013

I really liked this place. It was not far from the Terminal 21 mall, the light rail station and various bars and restaurants. The neighborhood is also very walkable with a few decent places to get a coffee and if you're interested Soi Cowboy is about a 10 minute walk away.
The hotel itself has a nice little cafe and they serve a good breakfast buffet in the morning. There is also a very nice and well kept roof top pool.

This hotel was beautiful and well-appointed. We had a hard time finding it to begin with - we asked for directions several times and no one could tell us the right direction to go in. When we eventually found it, check-in was smooth (even though we arrived a few hours early). We got the Premier Suite, which is nice and big with a kitchenette. Ours had a balcony that faced another hotel's wall. The pool area is nice although it would be good if they had more lounge chairs (although they don't really have room for more than the 5 they have now). There are a lot of bars and restaurants in the area, as well as Terminal 21 shopping mall. We opted for breakfast - it was good, with lots of choice. My favourite part was the made-to-order omelettes (or other types of eggs) with your choice of toppings. The hotel is within walking distance of Asoke Station on the BTS and Sukhumvit Station on the metro. The hotel offers a free tuktuk service to places close by if you need it. Also worth mentioning that it's super easy to get to Suvarnabhumi Airport from this hotel using the Airport Link. It takes about 45 minutes door to door if you're not on the express airport train, probably about 30 minutes if you are. The ONE thing I didn't like about this hotel was, like many other reviewers mentioned, the TUB! It is so poorly designed, and it's hard to not flood your bathroom even with the shortest shower. It should be redesigned. Other than that, I completely recommend this hotel!

We stayed at Admiral Premier on two occasions, first in Superior and then in Premier Studio. Both are good options with adequate space, good beds and ok sized bathrooms. Premier Studio has a balcony but with did not find much use for it. There is also a kitchenette with a good sized fridge.Because the hallways are not ACed the room gets quite warm if you do not have the room AC on. We prefer to sleep without AC so this was a bit a inconvenient. Rooms were very clean. Wifi worked, BBC on telly.

There is a decent sized pool with kind of a jacuzzi on the roof with nice city view. It has only six sunbeds but you are not in BKK for great pool scene.

The location was very good for us. A ten minute walk or 5 minute free shuttle tuk-tuk ride to BTS and MRT stations which are connected to Terminal 21 mall with elevated walkways. It is best to use these and the escalators in the malls (e g Interchange Tower) to cross Asok and Sukhumvit. Terminal 21 has a cheap and very good food court on the 5th floor for a quick lunch. There are also several local street food places, restaurants, cafes and 7-11s near the hotel. And Soi Cowboy if that is your cup of tea.

The hotel is not very big which was a plus for us. Just do not come expecting a grand foyer and a lavish breakfast buffet. The staff is very friendly as you would expect in a 4 star Thai hotel.

This is the second time my family has stayed here, and we really like it.

It is centrally located, so within a 10 min walk of the BTS station. The hotel also has its own Tuk Tuk service that is complimentary and will take you to the BTS station if need be. There are also plenty of eating options nearby on the main Sukhumvit Road, so you don't need to venture far.

Staff are very helpful and speak excellent English.

Breakfast is excellent - with a good choice of cereals, fruit juice, yoghurts, fruit, as well as eggs, omelettes, toast, cakes, croissants, coffee, capucchino, etc. Also offered is a variety of Thai breakfast choices. Breakfast is served from 6 am to 10.30am so gives lots of scope if you want a lie-in. Restaurant staff are very friendly.

Rooms are really nice, spacious, with A/C, TV and en-suite bathroom. Given the central location of the hotel it is surprisingly quiet.

On top of the hotel is a great pool, as well as small fitness suite alongside, The views from the roof both in the day, but especially at night are spectacular.

I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and plan to stay here again when we next visit Bangkok.

We stayed in the Admiral Premier for 4 nights 24th - 28th June 2013, it was our first time to Thailand and just loved everything about it. The hotel was just delightful, clean, the foyer was decorlicious. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and a big thank you to Max in the restaurant, which I may add at breakfast made the best cappuccino I have ever tasted, my husband is a Barista so would like to congratulate him and the staff. Also a huge thank you to the girls on the desk, they were so polite and also to Pong for assisting us with everything.
The deluxe rooms are spacious and a bonus having a kitchenette to warm, cook or just for having a cuppa. The bed was king sized and very comfortable, the AC was a dream, cable TV though limited stations was still good for a late night watch, the bathroom well appointed and the room was always nice and clean. What I truely liked about it was that they were environmentally aware and for those with the same consciousness could leave a laminated card on the pillow if you didn't want your bedding changed everyday, which is a waste of water and putting washing powder pollutants into the system...well done.
We were also visiting an attraction which was a couple of hours drive away and had to be up super early, they gave us an early morning wake call and also supplied us with yummy filled croissants and drinks for the drive, thank you, much appreciated. The breakfast was good, not a huge buffet but very satiable. The location is a little out of the way and a lot of taxi's don't know how to get there, so ask for the hotel business card which has a map on the back, it is in Soi 23. Oh and there is a divine little pastry shop just down the road called Pak Bakery...great for late night snacks (they are open until 10pm) and the cost of food there in general is very good and so are the pastries/cakes. So overall, we are so pleased we stayed there, this was a great find and if we ever return, this will be our first port of call.

Room Tip: We were on the 8th floor which was great as there are only 9 floors but there was no view, not that...

We stayed at the hotel for 2 days end of June 2013. We were a group of 4 guys visiting from India on our first trip to Thailand. The overall experience was awesome ! Great rooms- equipped with all facilities. Do spend some time in the pool- its on the top floor and has a excellent view. The hotel also provides a free tuk-tuk service to the main road.

What could improve?--We would've been happier if the breakfast menu included more vegetarian options. Some of us were pure vegetarians and there was nothing other than fruits to choose from.

Overall, our experience was fantastic and we highly recommend this hotel !

Stayed in Admiral Premier for 13 nights and loved the service. Our check in was delayed by one night as the flight was cancelled but the hotel did not charge no show charges. Found all the staff very friendly specially the restaurant guy. The location is about 5-7 minutes walk from the train station but the hotel provides free tuk tuk. The only thing that ahould be improved is the addition of more tv channels and breakfast charges for children should be reduced. Overall excellent place for families in Bangkok
