Overall, the hotel is a budget destination, on the more expensive side.

Pros
- The only reason for staying here is the central location of the hotel

Cons
- Shabby condition
- bad paint on the wall and dust accumulated throughout the premises
- Very noisy

Overall, you get what you pay for....

Convenient location and very clean and QUIET hotel. I was actually surprised to experience such stillness in BKK. The lady at the desk is very friendly. Beware that some rooms are without window. I'll certainly book again.

Room Tip: It's a very quiet and friendly place. However, be aware that some rooms are without windows.

The hotel is located slightly off 18, at the back of a car park. Don't let this put you off, you couldn't ask for a better location. Asok station is less than a minute walk and soi cowboy less than 5 (make that 15 if you try crossing the road).
The hotel staff were miserable and made you feel like an annoyance (no thai smiles here). The hotel is a half hearted attempt at boutique but serves it's purpose and you would struggle to find somewhere better situated for the price. The room was cleaned once in our three day stay which I wasn't very impressed with. Overall a bargain hotel in a great city

Have all the basics here but need to go elsewhere for breakfast ect. 1 min walk to sky rail. Hotel tucked up in a alley way so was hard for taxi to find. I suggest take a map with hotel location or you could spend a long time in bkk traffic. Overall I would have preferred place that had breakfast but I made do there was a 7/11 close by

Booked for a total of 4 nights for this hotel because saw great reviews on its location. The hotel was not easy to find even for Thai taxi driver. Was a bit dissapointed with the whole outlook of the hotel, decoration was shabby and poorer lit. Check-in was slow due to the front desk staff being absent-minded where she kept forgetting that she had taken the necessary documents from us and was unsure which room are double bed or two single beds.

There is only one lift going up to the rooms. Its small and thus squeezy. If you plan to take the stairs, do be mindful that some sections are extremely steep compared to others. You'll have to go down all the way to the hotel lobby should you wish to make a cup of coffee or tea as they do not provide electric kettle in the room.

Do not get shock when you enter the room and find that there is only a see thru glass separating the bathroom and bedroom. You'll have to pull down the blinds for privacy. There are bits and pieces of incomplete settings compared room-by-room, for example hair dryer was spoilt, phone and safety box was missing, uninstalled tv channels and there was one room with extremely dirty pillow. Other than that, the rooms are faily average, aircond was extremely cold.

No breakfast included nor does the hotel have any place to dine in. Overall, besides the excellent location, the hotel is fairly average. I am sure there are other better hotels to consider at this price range.

I've stayed in this hotel in total for 3 nights. It's a small hotel with only 5 floors, hidden in a soi off the main road, at minutes from the BTS Asoke. Walk to the other side and find Emporium. The thing about this hotel is: it's good value especially because of the location. Asok is at a crossroad of the BTS and the MRT so wherever you want to go, it's very convenient and you don't need to get stuck in Bangkok traffic with taxi's and all that. Asok itself is a great area because there are so many restaurants, shops and entertainment venues at walking distance.
The rooms are well-designed during a renovation some time ago but the teeth of time have eaten at them, so the floors may be cracked and there may be all kinds of minor defects. I had: a water heater that didn't work (but was repaired by the staff), some smell on the 5/F (all over the 5/F), some disturbance with aircon, and some noise on the roof due to a central motor or so.
So it's probably better to avoid the 5/F.
If you can accept some possible minor defects and are not too picky about a perfect finishing (that has worn off), it's good value especially when the price drops below 1000 baht, considering the fantastic location.
Most hotels in this area charge 1,500 up so I would still stay here for the reason that the rooms are reasonable and the location is simply fantastic.
Unfortunately, in all rooms you can smoke, so sometimes you have to put on the aircon for a while to get rid of old smoke.
The hotel is small so expect less formality than in a big hotel. The staff is also less well trained, but you can go to their kitchen and heat up a lunch in the microwave or so.
It seems cheaper to book through an intermediary rather than to go through Darjelling's own site.

Room Tip: Avoid the 5/F because there may be some smell or noise from the roof

I stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed my stay. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly. Location of the hotel was close to the nightlife, shopping mall and rail stations. For the price the room was very nice and very much worth it.
