My first day back in Bangkok. What am I doing eating tapas for lunch in a Spanish cafe?! Ok, have walked past this place several times, but never eaten there. Soi 11 is one of my favourite food & bar areas, so there is plenty of competition.
First impression was very positive. Tried 3 tapas, all very good. Serrano ham was definitely worth returning for, maybe even splash out on the expensive pata negra next time. I particularly liked the friendly staff, who actually seemed to enjoy working there - for me that is a big plus for any restaurant. Several of the weekly specials on the board that will get me to return.
I have a feeling this place could become a regular for me on longer stays in the capital.
