First of all i was very impressed with the quality of Wi-Fi as its really important for my work; so this was a big plus for me.
Rooms are small but new and in a very good condition, the difference between is really not something important (the price also though).
Every room as I can tell has a kitchenette with microwave and a kettle.
Service is excellent, the staff is doing their best: the air conditioning did not work properly at the room i checked in to originally, and I was moved to another room without a problem (not only thanks to law season but to the staff also).
Nearby Tops supermarket is great value, another option is Emporium shopping center - 200m from the hotel.
BTS Phrom Phong is also about 200m away from the hotel.
I believe the only negative side is that I could not open the window (see tips section). There is also no gym, but for this price you can hardly expect that! So overall, very good experience.

Room Tip: Rooms on the south side face BTS and have better view; but windows do not open so you may be short o...

Nice budget hotel... 5 minute walk to Phrompong BTS station. I stayed here for 2 weeks and extended my stay for another 2 weeks. Hotel is good, kitchenette is including in rooms... only drawback is that rooms are very small and you feel like in a cage. facilities are good... staff i don't find so friendly... had issue with WiFi, only one TV channel in English and that too have repetitive movies all the time... Though in Hotel's TV channel list it is mentioned 3-4 English channel but non was there....

it hurts me to write an average review because so many things were nice about the hotel, not least of which was the superb, smiling service.

A clean room in a good location in a neatly rennovated hotel was marred by persistent wi-fi problems and a shower/toilet/bathroom with water that backed up. It sounds minor, it was minor, but these problems were quite a nuisance. Without giving figures, we payed enough for the room that these little things should not have been an issue.

My suggestion: If you're a budget traveller pay $15 USD more and get something a bit nicer.

Room Tip: Check the Wifi!

We travelled as a family and booked 2 room back to back and it was certainly a good choice for the prices we paid! The night gets a little noisy as there is a small drinking area and some drink late into the night. Other than that, the kitchenette makes my parent very happy as they can warm up take-away food.

Good location too and strong wi-fi and very friendly concierge. Highly recommended for the price!

The best hotel in Bangkok I've stayed in recently. Spotlessly clean room, corridors and reception. The corridors always smelled of laundry detergent. Even though the rooms are very small, they still feel spacious. Our room came with a kitchenette complete with a microwave oven, a sink, a stove top, an electric kettle (with coffee and tea), and a mini refrigerator. The bathroom had a shower, modern Japanese toilets, a large enough mirror to allow you to properly shave, do your makeup or hair. There was a safe, a hair dryer, a flat screen TV, and a small, foldable table. The beds were comfortable, the aircon was working well, and it was very quiet even though it’s so very close to the main road. The staff was extremely helpful, and got out of their way to get us cabs, and help us find places in the city. The location is great too. There is a supermarket just 1 minute from the hotel, as well as a coffee shop, the Emporium Shopping Mall, and the BTS station. I will definitely return there on my next visit to Bangkok.

We stayed at Check Inn Phromphong 4 nights. I chose this hotel because of its attractive rate. Hotel near to BTS Phromphong. Behind the hotel got Tops Market. We stayed on 4th floor, the higher floor in reception building (new building). It does not have air-conditioning on 4th floor corridor, very hot when we waiting for the lift. Our room got a broken shower door and the sink is too small. Hotel should try to fix it. However, room rate is unbeatable.

Room Tip: Request for big room.

Stayed at Check Inn Phromphong 2 nights last month, I chose this hotel because of its good location on Sukhumvit Road. Just a few minutes walk to Phromphong BTS, close to Shopping centre, the Park and also there are several restaurants, food hawkers and convenient shops dotted around the Sukhumvit area.

My superior room was clean. There is no balcony but the windows can be open.the toilet is small no bath tube only hand shower with good hot water. There is a kitchenette in room so it is very convenient for you to cook your own favourite dish.

Breakfast is included in my booking. Compare to another resort I used to stay, breakfast here is too simple not variety of food but it is not a big deal. You will get what you paid for. Its quality is fine. BTW, you can ask for free WIFI password from the front desk upon check-in. I do not have any complain about the WIFI as it is fast and can be used well both in my room and at the lobby. If I go to Bangkok again, I may choose to stay here again. If
