I met a fellow traveller when we were in Indonesia and she had recommended Co Van Kessel bike tours of Bangkok. I was a bit skeptical thinking how in the world can someone bike though such a busy city but this organization really knows what they are doing and it was fantastic.
We biked through all sorts of interesting alleyways and stopped at great places.
We stopped at the amazing flower market in China Town as well as an old Chinese Temple. From there we took the boat to the other side of the river where our first stop was Wat Kalayanamitr Varamahavihara which was beautiful. It is not a touristic Wat so there were not many people there. The Wat has the tallest seated Buddha in Bangkok which stands at 16M high.
We then had the opportunity to bike a bit through Old Bangkok which was amazing. Much more peaceful than the other side of the river!
I would highly recommend CvC Bike Tours. It was one of the best tours we did during our six months in Asia!More
