At this price, one cannot get accommodation any where in the world. The quality of room & services were quite good. The best part was check-in earlier without any extra cost. My flights were early in the morning from India & Phuket. I was allowed to check in at around 9AM. Connectivity via Airport city line and sky train is excellent and can take you any where in Bangkok at reasonable cost. Food quality was good. The best part was breakfast at 140 THB, which included almost everything one needs in the morning including fresh fruits, juices. I was using breakfast as brunch to save money as it is served up to 11AM. Overall experience with the hotel was of 5-star, same as I was treated at Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa/Marriot at Phuket.

Room Tip: For solo traveler I will recommend jr. room with antique furniture & clean, preferably on the so...

My friend in Thailand booked us two singles at this place. The inside feels and looks like a 4-star hotel, but the rooms and services are more in the 2-3 star range. The rooms were clean and comfortable, if a bit basic, and the TV offered a variety of international channels. But, Internet access is not free. For 150 baht (about US$5), you get a WiFi username and password that's good for 24 hours. Considering smaller hotels in Thailand offer WiFi free, this surcharge was a bit surprising. Because we arrived before check-in time, we asked to leave our bags at the hotel while we did some sightseeing. The bell captain said the first bag was free, but the second bag would be charged a fee. We talked him out of it, but again I was surprised at the stingy request.

Yes, it's convenient to the CityLine to the airport, and across the street from a Familymart convenience store, and the rooms are clean, but this hotel does not live up to its sumptuous-looking lobby.

Got a really REALLY low price from agoda.com and stayed for a week. Their service were pretty good, the only negative point I can think of is probably the language barrier - not all of them can speak English, and I do not understand a word of Thai. But beside that, everything was great. The room we got was clean, and there were complimentary bottled water provided everyday.

But location wise this isnt such a good place (but I guess that is why it is cheap anyway). It is pretty far from most of the big shopping malls and market like MBK, Central World, Chatuchak etc etc. But taxi is really cheap, and it is probably cheaper than taking the public transport if you have like 3-4 in a taxi. 15 mins ride only cost us like 100 baht. So all is well :)

A bit tatty but very cheap only £7.50 per night the breakfast was good for the price easy to get into town on the sky train I was on the 19 th floor and it was still a little noisy from the trains going past I would stay there again but only for 1 or 2 nights when in Bangkok.

The big advantage for NV is that the Ramkhamhaeng airport rail link station is literally right outside the front door. However this means that the noise from the train can be heard in the rooms. The rooms themselves are clean, have all the essentials and basics, the service is good considering it is such a big hotel. The restaurant is overpriced, however some of the nearby street vendors are really excellent. The showers and bathrooms are very good and the beds are comfortable. Wifi is an extra 150B for 24 hours and they will also look for a 1500B deposit. This is also a good place to stay if you are going to a match at the Rajamangala as it is about 30 mins up the road. The fare from the airport to Ramkhamhaeng on the train is 30B and with the rooms going for such low rates, you'll save plenty at this very convenient hotal

Room Tip: Rooms on the left hand side are further away from the trains
