First, the food is good and it meets my vegetarian tastes. The masala dosa we ordered was fine (and I admit I have had better at Komala Villas in Singapore) and so were the samosas, cauliflower dishes, curry vegetables and others. But, to find this in Bangkok and so very convenient is just terrific. Lots of Indian patrons which to me is a good sign on authenticity and taste. Despite one other review, we found the service actually pretty good.

Second, the place is air conditioned and clean. Cloth napkins too. The entrance is on Soi 11 (narrow separate door next to the small 7-11, a few meters from Sukhumvit) But the main entrance is one Soi down off Sukhumvit on Soi 11-1.

They have a photo album of their dishes in case you aren't t familiar with the dishes. The mango lassi's are indeed good.... With fresh mangoes used. And if you order naan, beware of the quantity. Also, I'd go with the butter garlic naan if you like naan.

Enjoy!

While taking the BTS back towards Mo Chit we saw the Dosa King sign from the train stop Nana and decided to try it out. Literally only a minute walk from the train and planted in the center of many other Indian restaurants. The mango lassi was insanely fantastic, made with fresh mango. I have craved it every day since then. The food came in pretty decent sized portions leaving us very full and happy with their fresh ingredients and simple but excellent tastes. The food was slightly on the expensive side, but with such a helpful crew, beautiful decor, quiet environment and tasty, well portioned food, we didn't mind the small cost for such an experience.

The one word that came to my mind after having my meal(s) here was "AWESOME". Very polite and well dressed staff, clean restraunt, amazing food qulaity and taste. I can assure that this is the best 100% vegitarian Indian food joint in bangkok. The location is also 50 mtr. from "Nana" skytrain station which is very convinient and it was a blessing for people like me staying at nearby at Hotel Ambassador.

If you are missing Indian vegetarian it can be a place to go. It's a little expensive but food is good and the quantity is also good.

We had Dosa and Uthapams at this place. This is a good place with fast service and different types of chutneys also with the South Indian Food. Only thing missing was the authentic Sambar, it tasted more like a dal, than Sambar.
