“Fantastic Moroccan-themed hotel in BKK”
Reviewed August 22, 2011

I stayed at this place because my Thai friend who lives in the student apartment block approx 100m away suggest i stay here as she heard good things from other friends who has perviously stayed here. She didnt disappoint!!! The beautifully designed hotel is spectacular...from the theme, decor, colour and reception area. Its themed around Moroccan it makes you feel like you really are in Morocco! The reception staff were friendly and attentative and more than willing to take my luggage straight to the room. The reception area and lobby are beautifully designed that it makes you wonder how could a budget hotel look like THIS?! I got to my room and the first thing i noticed was the cute windows. I booked 4 nights here for 750B per night (this rate is unavailable over the internet ANYWHERE). with no breakfast as i would not wake up in time for it haha! Anyway the rooms have a tv and excellent aircon system. The hallways can get a bit hot and humid but its fine once you get to the reception area.

Locals congregate outside a small food stall that a few ppl set up outside to the left of the hotel but they dont bother you at all. The food there was actually quite nice and soooo cheap!

The swimming pool is gorgeous and so are the little rooms on the sides of the reception area. There is a gym that is in great condition - ideal and very useful for gym junkies like myself! Also has self laundry facilities for cheap.

The best thing about this hotel is they give you FREE wifi in ALL the rooms (something that not all high-class hotels offer in BKK) and its surprisingly super FAST! Just get a username and password slip off the reception but remember it expires 48hrs after first log-in but they will gladly give you another one after that.

The hotel is also just 40metre walk to the nearest BTS station - On Nut (just turn right once outside the hotel entrance and you'll see it easily!) so it saves u getting a taxi from all the shopping malls. It just costs about 60B one-way to Siam BTS. At night there's not much to do around the hotel but thats good because no traffic congestion and taxi's or motorbike taxi's can get you anywhere fast. There is however a small interesting night market next to the stairs that lead up to the BTS station of On Nut but it closes about 10pm every night.

For nightlife, there's a few excellent clubs to choose from but it's a taxi ride away. I went to DEMO which was lots of fun and has commercial house. Just remember to dress up and bring passport id cos its an upmarket venue and full of Thai ppl.

Overall, i will be staying here again FOR SURE (im due back in Bangkok Nov 24 - Dec 13th). This time i will be bringing my MacBook to take full advantage of their free fast wifi. If you stay here you wont be disappointed at all!! A MUST STAY!!

This hotel is near On Nut BTS station, so well connected to all shopping areas. their staff is helpfull specially the staff at their travel desk is very kind! Choice of breakfast was good.
I had only one issue which was that i felt the hotel was haunted! I was staying in room number 1406! Their AC stopped automatically every night! Weired noises comes! The lamp shuts off automatically! It may be a electricity problem there but the last 2 days i felt my bed was shaking!
But yes, rest everything was fine...

I've stayed her a few times and have liked it. They keep it rather clean, and it's very convenient to the BTS and also there's a Tesco within 2 blocks. However if construction annoys you, you will be annoyed. There has been a major construction project going on right behind the hotel for at about 7 months. If you get a room near the front of the hotel and have ear plugs you should be fine, but otherwise you may wish to explore another place. (The construction goes from about 8am to 10pm--not 8pm as the hotel staff told me).

If you read this review after December 2011 I expect the construction will be done. Best to call the hotel and ask.

btw. the daytime staff is very nice and efficient! and generally this hotel has been a good deal for the price, kind of an "upscale budget" place.

We have stay at Imm Fusion at June for 3 nights as I get a good price from a website. For me the location has pro & con. It's near the skytrain, just 5 min walks and there is a Tesco nearby. But as first time visit to Bangkok, it's a bit far for me from the tourist place. It's not under the pick up hotel list too when I book the Ayutthaya trip, so I need to go another hotel to wait for the pick up at early 6.00am.
The staffs are freindly and the lobby itself is clean and nice. My room is a bit small and hot. We can feel the heat once we go into room and need to on the aircond very low temperature then only able to sleep. Beside the building I think is a bar or what, we can hear people singing karaoke everynite. Breakfast is good enough for us.

Great little place the staff is very friendly and helpful. Close to a large Tesco which is nice and the skytrain so easy to get around. Rooms are clean and decent size. Lounge area is very comfortable and relaxing.

After reading reviews here I decided to book for 3 nights. On arrival the foyer/reception is very impressive and the staff friendly. The formalities completed I made my way to the room and this is where my alarm bells started ringing. Next to the lift is what appears to be a shower area. The smell was overpowering, just awful. I thought this would dissipate as I got to my room but I was wrong.

The room is VERY basic and small, I'd describe it as threadbare. The bathroom had a strange smell and wasn't the cleanest I've ever seen. I'd requested a double bed and got two singles and what appeared to be a bunch of electric wires were contained in a plastic bag on the floor. Contrary to reports here claiming it is near all the amenities it is in fact on Soi 50, a good 30 minute taxi to the nightclubs of Sukhumvit Road.

I was tired out after a long flight and couldn't be bothered complaining so I just checked out immediately and went to stay in a hotel I have stayed in many times before. No refund given. A lesson learned is to stay with what you know.
