I like the hotel, stay there quite often and like sitting on the terrace, though there are cheaper options with similar quality around. Due to its unbeatable location the place is well frequented, which may relax managements attention. The food is pricey but okay. However, I strongly suggest to leave Pizza and Lasagna (one word: terrible!) to those who know how to prepare it (Italians) - Thais (no offence!) will never learn it, the more when there is no competent supervisor. Short fried dishes such as fish and chips or burgers must be freshly(!) made and should by no means be rewarmed. In general considering the price-performance ratio the food is average. But there are highlights, such as chicken kebab, which is delicious, as long as the cook refrains from adding spicy herbs(?!) and the chicken is 'well done' (ask for it, and you will love it). Finally: a waitress/waiter should have at least basic knowledge what they serve. This is a well-intended advice of a friend, who will return. Think about it.
