“Fabulous For Tight Budget Travellers”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 11, 2010

My friends and I were there for 5 days and we were searching for a place that is decent with good accessibility, but CHEAP! And we came across Take A Nap. Our stay here for 4 nights were great. Breakfast was provided, the room is cleaned everyday, towels are provided and of course computer with internet servies is available at the lobby. It is about 5 minutes walk to the nearest station but it felt nearer as there are many shops along the way you can stop by for food (eg. MCD, 7 Eleven, street food, etc). I truly recommend this place for budget travellers who wants comfort at a cheap price! Apart from that, each room has its own themed design which is pretty cool as well!

I love the design of the room and the photos on the website does not disappoint me.

The staff are extremely friendly and the room smells really nice as well. It is stationed near a MRT and BTS.
It is cheap, clean and good. Further more there are many fancy rooms for you to choose :)

We will definitely go back there again!

PS: you might want to lock your shopping in your luggage when you go out cause the room service maids might take some of your stuff. I lost a sun glass, 12 small bottles of aroma oils and a pants.

I think this hotel is more suited for young people. Not that old people couldn't stay here, but I think young people will enjoy the place more. It is around 3-5 minutes walk to the nearest MRT/BTS station (Silom MRT/SalaDaeng BTS), which is walking distance to us.

The rooms are cheap! There were 6 of us, and there wasn't triple/double rooms for us on the first night, so they gave us one dorm room all to ourselves but only charging us for 6 beds (there were 7beds in the room)!! It was 350baht per head.

The dorm was acceptable, bright colors, clean, basic but we didn't like that we had to share one bathroom/toilet among the 6 of us!

Luckily we moved out of the dorm the next day to two triple rooms. We were out the whole day at Chatuchak, so the staff volunteered to help move our stuff from the dorm room to our rooms. When we came back, we checked into the DragonFly triple room and the Happy Forest double room (with one extra bed). The triple room is 1300baht per night while the double room is 1500 baht inclusive of the extra bed.

I stayed in the Happy Forest room and double bed is hugeee. The rooms are clean, and although the shower/toilet is a bit small, there's nothing much to complain about. The TV have international channels and we were lucky to catch some delectable movies on the French channel (sometimes we skipped trying out Thai roadside dishes just to watch the movies).

The staff were exceptionally helpful! There was one guy (I didn't get his name sigh), who checked us in on the first day - and I thought his English was superbly good for a Thai (we realize this after a few days). He was very accommodating and helpful as well. The other staff were great as well. They provided us maps, directions and tour numbers and taxis to the airport (remember, this is a budget hotel?).

The breakfast was pretty simple but I liked how homey it is. In fact, my fav time of the day is probably breakfast because of how simple and yet enjoyable time it is.

We really liked the whole overlook of this hotel. It was simple, good service, CHEAP, clean and good location. And another great thing, is I booked our rooms through email correspondence and they replied me quite fast, too.

Everything about this hostel is amazing except one thing. Wi-fi didn't work in out room. We got the dorm room with 7 beds for only 350Baht/perspn/per night with a total of 1050 baht good for 3 days already. receptionists are soooooooooo friendly and helpful with all your questions on where to go best and how to get there easily and cheap. Breakfast is buffet but actually looks like a set meal but unlimited for only 100 baht. It's just a few minutes walk to Suwarong, Silom and Patpong. Taxis are plentiful the moment you come out of the hostel. I just am thankful I found this hostel through this site
