THIS IS NOT THE HOTEL AT THE AIRPORT. (just to clarify). this hotel is awesome, with great rooms, great breakfast, great friendly staff and anything else i can put great in front of.
The reason it flies under the radar is that it's a bit like a Japanese business hotel, but with a buffet breakfast and bigger rooms.
my wife and i and our 6 month daughter stayed in Rm 1003 for 3 nights on our recent trip to Taipe. The staff were very accommodating and upgraded us to a bigger room so there was more room for the cot. There was complimentary fruit in the room and the cleanliness was excellent.
It is about a 10 minute walk up Nanjing W Rd to Zhongshaun MRT station and the lots of cool designer shops and cute little cafes etc that surround it.
It is only a few minutes walk to Ningxia Night Market which is well worth a look and there are plenty of restaurants closeby, a 711 across the road and you can even get a good foot massage a few door up the street.

Room Tip: The rooms overlooking Nanjing Rd can be a little bit noisy early in the morning from the music playi...

Positive points:
* This business hotel has modern and clean lobby and rooms.
* The room is quite spacious and nicely decored.
* The LCD TV is large.
* Free newspaper
* Free wifi in the room
* Nice bathroom equipped with electronic toilet bowl, bathtub and separate shower area.
* Very attentive and friendly bell boy and receptionist

The only negative point:
* It is not within walking distance to MRT station. So, have to take taxi to the nearest MRT stop (Taipei City Hall) which cost around US$5 one way..
* Circular bed is a little bit awkward unless it is for honeymoon couple

Overall, if coming for business purposes, I would highly recommend this hotel...

Room Tip: If you choose the economy circular bed, then most likely it will be located on the corner of the hot...

This is a fairly new hotel about 40 min from the airport. Fairly central to shopping restaurants etc. the rooms are all different with varied layouts and decor. Everything is of a very high standard and luxurious. I will definitely revisit this hotel and feel comfortable to suggest to anyone.

Location was very convenient and we were on the top floor so it was relatively quiet. We asked for a room with twin beds but they gave us a full size bed and a rollaway. We liked the room and it was nice for them to give us free fruits. We paid very good price so we have no complain but I wish liens are little cleaner.

My partner and I stayed here for one night when we were in Taipei. We chose the hotel because of its positive reviews and reasonable price. It was also very conveniently located near the main train station so that we did not have to travel far to catch our train to Hualien the next afternoon. Overall we were quite happy with our stay! When we arrived late that evening the hotel staff were expecting us which made check in quick and easy. The room was very clean and modern with all the amenities you could require. The bed was comfortable. There was even a small "welcome" fruit plate for us. The breakfast was included and it was a pretty decent spread with a mix of local and Western foods. It's not the best hotel I've ever stayed in, but for the price I would definitely recommend it for a couple of nights.

As we were travelling in a tour group, time was seldom enough for us to buy fruits but city suites thoughtfully provided every room with a small but impressive variety to ensure that every traveller that passes through it's doors are well and healthy.

The rooms were equipped with high-tech toilets and were very clean. The rooms had different themes, all of which were cosy and comfortable. The staff at the restaurant for breakfast was extremely attentive and attends to your every need sometimes even before you ask for it. It's really a very good hotel!

Stayed 3 nights at City Suites ex Japan. The service was outstanding - most of the staff speak English, Japanese and of course Chinese. They are ever so helpful. The rooms are clean, modern, and spacious. The bathrooms in particular are designed with very good taste in mind. Each morning the breakfast had a good spread with a wide array of options. Only issue was the free Wifi access was not so compatible with Apple devices (iPad and iPhone). If all else fails there are 4 laptops in the lobby which guests are free to use. Location wise the hotel is no trouble. Generally there is always a taxi on the street and getting anywhere is very cheap. I would definately stay in this hotel again!!!

Room Tip: Stayed on 8F - quiet as a mouse
