“Thoroughly enjoyed myself”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

As there is a lack of such fun water park in Singapore, I had went there with much anticipation and it did not disappoint me. If you have plans to visit Formosa, apart from going on a weekday, please confirm that it does not clashes with school holidays. I arrived at 11am and due to the school holidays, it is packed with people. I had to queue 15 to 20 minutes on average for those more popular rides and left at 5pm. For that duration from 11 am to 5pm, I had only managed to try all the rides and features twice.

The best one for me is the freefall. Totally thrilling! The other rides which involves more than one person are also fun! Even though if you are alone, just tag along any group, i don't think anyone will object since it's just a minute's ride only! Remember to try them all!

Amenities wise, there are a variety of food and even though it's not fantastic, it's passable. The not so good thing is the toilet/bathroom. Have to deal with the cold water shower and humid environment. It is not dirty but the whole toilet/bathroom is very wet. If you forgot to bring your swimming attire or require a towel, don't worry, it has shops that sell those stuff. Reasonable for last minute buys. Not cheap but it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg either. Will go there again during my next trip!

“Fun Water Park on the Distant Outskirts of Taipei”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

Standard water park attractions such as slides and a kids' area. Lots of lifeguard/attendants. You must swim across a small pool to show your swimming ability to join the queue for some of the slides. Not too crowded on weekdays. RECOMMENDED: Arrive after 4pm to avoid the searing midday heat and get a discount; the park is very nice in the early evening hours. A variety of fast foods are served, including stinky tofu and there is a small convenience store selling a variety of snacks. The wave pool is set off from the main part of the park and kind of smallish. Oddly, it has signs in Mandarin that prohibit swimming. (I think they mean lap swimming or racing.) Near the wave pool is another abandoned pool in a state of disrepair. Very few of the staff speak English, but they are friendly and try hard. There is a first aid room. Restrooms are not very clean. To get here, take the MRT to Guandu Station and then a red 13 or 22 bus, about a 45 minute ride. A
