Owner description: At 509 meters high, this was the world's tallest building from 2004 to 2010, when the Burj Khalifa in Dubai surpassed it. The tower is reminiscent of a pagoda or a stalk of bamboo and designed to withstand typhoons and earthquakes common in Taiwan. Floors one through five are a shopping center and both the indoor (89th floor) and outdoor (91st floor) observation decks offer a 360-degree panoramic view.

Went on a beautiful day to Taipei 101.
Rode the elevator up, ears popped, and I got a little worried as we rocketed to the top.

The best thing: stepping outside on the 91st floor for a once-in-a-lifetime view. Amazing.

“Not the tallest, but worth a visit”
Reviewed October 19, 2013

An impressive building with an unusual exterior design. Going to the top is a must and the exhibits are interesting and very Taiwan. The food court is pretty amazing in it's variety and reasonable pricing.

“Beautiful Taipei 101”
Reviewed October 19, 2013

One of the most great place in Taipei with such a beautiful and refreshing view of beautiful city from the top which needs to buy a ticket worth NTD 300+
one of the biggest brand showrooms could be easily found in the Taipei 101, there are lot of eateries and small food court restaurants available too at the basement.
You also can enjoy the pubs and lavish malls all near around.Taipei 101 has it's own MRT station very soon which will connect to the whole Taipei city MRT system, very soon.

“A high recommendation”
Reviewed October 18, 2013

I can say that Taipei 101 is one of the highly admired attractions in Taipei. It is best to visit the tower at the end of the day to see the whole city during day time and night time. An audio guide is provided which is very helpful. I would recommend visiting this place on good weather or if the sky is clear in order to see the scenery better. It will also take time (approximately 40 minutes) to go at the top of the tower if it is crowded however there is an express way though you will pay double the price. Restaurants with variety of tasty food and shopping centers with reasonable price are situated in it. There are more to see in Taipei 101 such as the big stabilizer ball which prevents the building from earthquake or any vibration. In addition to this, you can also see collection of ingenious artifacts made in corals. Overall, I strongly commend Taipei 101 a must-see destination.

“Top of the Range”
Reviewed October 18, 2013

Wow, in fact you can find almost all the top labels here. But we enjoyed most going to the food court at the basement. We can eat ourselves silly with the fantastic variety of food.
