This hotel is close to all the actions, Taipei train station, night market (Xi Men Ding). The price was good and the hotel was clean. It would be nice if they have an exercise room.

Room Tip: I ordered through Hoteltravel.com and got better price.

Managed to get a room here for a very last min trip to Taiwan in Dec...

Location was good as it was near to Taipei Main Station and also walking distance (15mins) to XiMenDing if you know the way.... The receptionists were helpful in giving us directions to certain locations. The room was big for 3 person accomodation.. it's like a small suite... a living room and bedroom... we hardly use the living room because the room itself was big enough... The bathroom was spacious and clean... the only complaint I had was probably the bed... because it's pretty hard...i prefer soft comfy beds..

Nevertheless, it's still value for money!

Stayed in this hotel (annex branch) for 4 nights. Room allocated to us was surprisingly big for a 3 person accomodation. Plenty of walking space at the room's foyer area. A separated shower area from the bath tub, which makes the bathroom very spacious. Basic toileteries were provided. Also this hotel is just about 5 - 7 mins walk from Taipei main station, which makes it a good choice if you are unable to get the hotel next to the station. Only draw back is that the pillows are too soft and had to request for a 2nd one to make it slightly better.

I spend 3 nights in the family suites of Flowers Hotel main building (the old one) with my family. The room is quite old and dull, i hate the red carpet that gave a bit dirty feeling. The TV and furnitures are also old. But the toilet is good, clean, and quite big. The bed is also ok for me, kinda hard-type, but with a quite nice blanket. The air-con is a bit uncontrollable.
I love the breakfast at Doutor cafe. since Dante Cafe in the main building is closed for renovation, we can only have breakfast at Doutor Cafe next to Annex building just across the street from the hotel main building.
About the location, it's on couple of blocks in front of Taipei Main Station, but by walking it may take around 10-15 minutes. The hotel is surrounded by many cafe, restaurants, minimarkets, food stalls, and shops by walking distance. Only a block from Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store and about 5 blocks away from Ximending.
Actually I came back again to this hotel for the fourth night after trip from Sun Moon Lake. But I asked to be moved to the new building (Flowers' Annex). I found out that the room at the new building is better than the old one. It's bigger, cleaner, and the tv also already the flat-type. So, if you want to stay at this hotel make sure you get the room at the Annex building one.

Booked this through local T/A. Though I have selected a 3-star property from the standard list but I didn't expect the property to be so poorly maintained and staff having no interest to serve guests.

Had thought this would be an ok property as I've read previous comments from other tripmembers. Comments from Japanese guests was an assurance for me of their overall cleanliness. To my dissapointment, I found visible hairs on the bed, bathtub and other parts of the bathroom. I would recommend the hotel owner to take a look at the moldy bathroom walls in the #778.

I couldn't care less as my purpose was the Alegria-Cirque du Soleil's show in Taipei.

The only bonus was the location, but I found the YMCA offers a better location and nearer to Taipei main train station, will certainly book there on my next trip.

We have just returned from 8d7n at the Hotel Flowers' Annex which is a branch of Hotel Flowers. It is diagonally opposite from its main hotel.

We had a triple room and there was ample space to walk around. The bed was okay but the pillow was too soft. As for breakfast, we have 2 cafes to choose from - Doutor Gourmet Coffee Shop (which is next to the hotel) & Dante Coffee Shop (which is opposite the hotel).

It is about 15-20 minutes walk from the hotel to Taipei Main Station. Nearby, there are Taipei Underground shopping, Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department store & K Mall.

Overall, it's good and I'll be back.

Upon reaching the hotel, we were shocked to see how small and rundown the hotel was and not forgettting it was quite far away located from the Taipei Main station (nearest station). The room was decent with dressing table, bath tub, etc. but i find it its hotel view rather bad.

The worse thing was the bed. It was so hard that it was impossible for someone to actually fall asleep on it.

The only best thing was the breakfast. Its a complete set with soup, sandwich, salad and comes with tea/coffee/juice. The breakfast is highly raved.

There is a 7-11 located near the hotel. And though Taipei Main Station was the nearest station from the hotel, i managed to get to XiMen Station from a 10-20 min walk from the hotel.

If you're looking for a hotel with accessible location and pleasant rest, I would advise you not to go to this one.
