“Flower festival was beautiful”
Reviewed April 19, 2013

The flower festival was our main reason for visiting, but we like to hike so probably would have gone either way. Since it was flower festival, we took a shuttle bus from a subway stop. Highly recommend you buy an Easycard subway pass as it just simplifies your life for subways and buses. Walked around, saw the clock, ate some snacks, saw waterfall which has the appearance of construction for a very long time and the rest of the flowers. My husband hoofed it to top of one of the trails, said you could just make out Taipei 101, I relaxed by the waterfall for a bit and looked at his pictures ;). Overall, if you like outdoors and walking/ hiking, it's a must do any time of year.

“Beautiful place”
Reviewed April 16, 2013 via mobile

Great park and hiking area a must visit for all tourists. Amazing restaurants around, and a full view to the city of Taipei. Great to visit late afternoon and wait until its dark. The city lights are amazing from here. If you catch the flower festival they have here you are lucky but be aware the event is widely popular so it is super packed.

“Calla Lily Farm and Geyser.....”
Reviewed April 16, 2013

Picturesque and peaceful....We hired Round Taiwan Round -- James to show us around and it was nice that he knew what we wanted to see and we tried to avoid the tour buses as much as possible.

This park is for hikers and is scenic.....lots of hiking trails...not for small children and the elderly. You can also spend time at the Calla Lily farm....

The park is very big, and has many pathways, which are well signposted. Easy access from Taipei City.

“Very very cloudy...unfortunately”
Reviewed April 14, 2013

I'm sure it would be fantastic in good weather as very well sign posted and great bus loop system for pick ups and drop offs. All trails have km markers and boards showing views etc - however, I was in clud the whole time I was there
