We were there around noon, so we enjoyed the change of the guard. The same night, they had a Jazz Concert, so we stopped on our way back to the hotel. Overall, one of the top places to visit in Taipei.

The building is huge, clean and worth seeing.
The most interesting is Chiang Kai Sek's sitting statue on 4th floor, and the changing of the guards take place every hour, called 'the honor guard'.
The honor guard changing their shift on the hour from 10 am to 4 pm. Wednesdays are from 10 am to 6 pm.
Two sets of white stairs, each with 89 steps to represent Chiang's age at the time of his death, lead to the main entrance.
The Gate of Great Centrality and Perfect Uprightness was placed at the west end on Chung Shan South Road, with a Gate of Great Loyalty standing at the north side on Hsin Yi (Xinyi) Road and a Gate of Great Piety standing at the south side on Ai Kuo (Aiguo) East Road.
The ground level of the memorial house library and museum documenting Chiang Kai-shek's life and career.

The is a huge building within a large complex with two other large buildings. The museum tells the life story of Chiang Kai-Shek and his place in the history of Taiwan. The photos and exhibits all have English as well as Chinese descriptions. The changing of the guards every hour is worth seeing.

The building is huge, as is CKS's sitting statue in the hall. On the ground floor is a permanent exhibition about his life and career. Ofcourse at the same time telling a lot about the history of Taipei and China.

It is educational and interesting, but brought in a bit boring way.

His official cars are there, which were nice to see. Also his country house carrying chairs, which seemed like a quite random pick to display.

His office was meticulously replicated with a wax puppet of CKS sitting behind his desk. It was nice to see the whole office room this way.
Don't forget to read the explanatory signs there, like "no. 15: footstool" or "no. 17: sofa". Funny...

All in all it was informative.
