This is one of those places even the cab drivers don't know. It is primarily a ceramic and pottery museum, but its collection is stunningly beautiful, the displays are excellent and the view of the garden from the museum is captivating. I've been there twice and want to return again.
If you appreciate fine Chinese ceramics, this is a 'must-see' on your agenda. Although the collection is much much smaller than that of the National Palace Museum, you don't have to fight the crowds here to see the exhibits.
The museum hours are very limited, so it is essential to check before visiting. In the past, the museum has been completely closed for the first two weeks of July.
